When you consider the Mach E seems to easily beat Ford’s stated range figures and Tesla’s rarely hit the stated range figures I think the range is a non factor in the comparison.

I’ve got a pihole at home, but don’t run an ad blocker on my work laptop.
The amount of ads on this is obscene. There’s more ads than content plus popups that force you to interact before you can scroll or type and of course take forever to load.
You seem really butt hurt about it.
Probably similar reasons as why Gas car sales are dropping even faster than diesel in europe.
Err. No. The Ram 1500 gets roughly the same MPG as his old truck did, its just everything else, plus the monthly note is higher on the half ton. That’s my point.
I mean, comparing a 3/4ton running costs to a 1/2 ton when you don’t need the 3/4 ton is only ever going to end up with 1 answer. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.
Because they are dumping OLD diesel cars and cars with emissions in general.
I have read about issues, but I don’t know anyone else with personal experience and I’m going on 2 years and 30k miles with mine that had 30k miles on it when I bought it without issues.
Your source is studies done ATLEAST 10 years ago before any of the current emissions regulations and equipment were relevant?
That is completely incorrect. Do some research. Modern diesels with properly functioning emissions equipment are cleaner than modern gas engines when it comes to direct health impacts.
There’s so much diesel misinformation here in this thread its astounding. Def systems are not *that* unreliable and modern diesels are generally cleaner than gas engines in many ways and whoever suggested they are more expensive to maintain has never touched one. The problem is redneck idiots who would rather blow…
There was a 29 second add to watch the video.
Does changing the spark plugs require you to drop the subframe? It kinda looks like it.
Can’t forget the Sierra Cosworth
I was extremely close to buying a manual 2020 Mazda 3 Hatch but ended up getting a 2016 328D because of its extra mpg and diesel has been relatively cheap almost all year.
It LOOKS really good.
To be fair, many of the “PD” vw engines had cam wear issues, including the last of the 1.9tdi’s.
Remember, this entire thing is about GM arguing they are overpaying for labor. The “damages” are what GM paid their own employees.
Yeah.. I’ll stick to my slow ass Diesel ZR2 that gets awesome fuel economy and is actually sized to fit on trails in northern michigan.
