This place annoys me. I'm gonna go play Halo.

Tough one. I guess I'll take the easy way out and say any boring car would be a lame barn find. Toyotas, Hondas, the works.

@jodark: Now THAT belongs in Silent Hill.

So its got over four times the power of my car, and still has a higher MPG rating? Damn. Technology bites.

Murilee forsakes the Ford Tempo. Ford Tempo Fan forsakes the heretic! For all that is good, just, and Mazda 2.0L-diesel powered, I hereby shun Murilee Martin until atonement is offered by said Murilee Martin to the greatest of great cars: Ford Tempo.

Its gotta be the Mercedes. Nothing says "Yeah, we sunk the RMS Lusitania back in 1915. Got a problem with that?" like a big, black Mercedes-Benz.

The Mark III and IV Continentals are one of my dream cars that I've lusted for continually. They're just so beautiful. Even in its death throws, this one manages to seem somehow elegant and classy (even in a junk yard).

@SuzanneD: Yeah, but facts and figures are boring! They're from Toyota owners.

I dunno. I know lots of people don't like Lady Gaga, but I think she's pretty talented. I'm not a huge fan of her music, but she's got some good dance moves and she's different, unique. Good qualities to hold these days.

And they say Chrysler doesn't have potential? Chevy can suck Power Wagon and Raptor exhaust fumes.

I like the Crown Victoria better.

@SuzanneD: They've been the most popular squad car for literally decades (with minimal changes!). Must be doin' something right.

The Crown Victoria. They don't use Chargers around here, and the only other cop car that isn't a Crown Vic within 100 miles is a Dodge Intrepid.

I've had a '61 Ford Model 600 in the family for three generations now. Has to be one of the most solid, well-built, dependable American vehicles ever made.

A female passenger...A Ford GT...A wall...

@HurtsSoGood: It was a pretty decent car compared to, well, everything that was spewed out of the 1970s. Continental? Mustang? Camaro? Fairmont? Citation? The Tempo was in an entirely different world from those cars in nearly every aspect.

@JayP71's new car is worth 5 jalop points: No, not as well made as a Sentra or Civic. But come on, they're basically appliances. Like a microwave or fridge. No, probably won't break. But its hard to feel passionate about a off-white Maytag.

I'm a sucker for car cleaner products. I always end up grabbing a new kind or brand of wax or polish, that I don't really need.

@HurtsSoGood: Funny, because for their time, they were almost God-like machines. We had just come out of the 1970s, and with GM still building nothing but dogs and Chrysler not having the funds... It was left really to Ford to offer quality, innovative, and modern American cars. Sounds a lot like today, don't it?

Nice price.
