Has an American machine ever won LeMons?

@skitter: I was thinking of just buying one, and if anyone noticed I'd just say it meant: MonkeyFighteR

This one seems sorta politically incorrect or somethin. I can wear my neon green Driveshaft Through the Skull T-shirt anywhere really. School, hockey games, the garage when I'm working on the Tempo.

Yamaha makes pianos? I thought it was all about the SHO.

It sounds, looks impressive. However, it is not a Buick damn it!

@Turboner: But. Viper will always be more bad ass then Corvette. Its just a law of nature, sorta.

Lets see. What could I do with that $22,000. I could buy a Toyota Camry!

@pauljones: Kids these days. Bush just sort of made war a joke, and unfortunately, that's all we really have personal experiences with.

@brandegee: Without the slightest doubt in my mind, the Tempo. Actually, I wouldn't be too surprised if the only vehicle to survive the apocolypse is in fact, the diesel-powered Tempo.

If it were priced relatively to the price of, say, a '68 GT500. I might be interested.

Well I suppose this could be considered an improvement over the Ford Tempo Diesel's 52HP.

That shade of blue is all sorts of awesome.

@pauljones: Agreed. Within reason of course. Its not so much the engines themselves I suppose. Fuel injection is good, as is variable valve timing and cylinder deactivation. However. Traction control, anti-lock brakes, stability control, et cetera. Are not good. They null the driving experience.

Now if anyone, even just one, person at Chrysler had half a brain, they'd really grab this opportunity. Safety is important, and a fantastic selling point.

I've got an old VHS, no idea where it came from, featuring "crash tests" of trains. Old school steam engines that were pending the crusher were bought cheap and crashed into each other. Call it a demonstration, crash test, whatever, but spectators were most definitely there.

I say all new cars are boring. I'll have my Big Block Chevy with extra Chevelle please.

@Elhigh: Which is why its a good thing me, and most of Alaska's natives, choose Ford Tempos for their daily drivers. Those things put almost everything else to shame in the snow, while being reliable enough to get you home and back.

Perfection is over rated anyway. #audir8v10

MotorTrend can go to hell, but the Fusion can go to hell and back. I've yet to hear about any bad news from owners up here, and that's saying something.
