@TexanIdiot25's Chevrolet CST10 is on the streets!: That would be a 1989 Ford Tempo GL Coupe. Same year as mine. Its identifiable as a GL with the chrome painted "Blue Oval" hub caps.

@A promenading performer: How did you know this?! I was going to say something, but didn't. According to the official 1989 Ford Tempo sales brochure: "In Tempo AWD you'll find the interior appointments are similar to that of the top-line LX." Essentially, Tempo AWD was a Tempo GL with sort of a mish-mash of the GL and…
@☠Grяrяrяrяrяrяrя spelled backwards is яrяrяrяrяrяrяrG☠: That would be truly epic. I somehow doubt they would approve of its 87HP from a 2.3L I4. Nonetheless, perhaps the Tempo would see a little mercy for being related to the European market Ford Escort. If ever so slightly. The American CE14 platform which underpins…
@coupeZ600: I've had the star for a couple days now. COTD and a star, my life couldn't be more complete. Actually, it could. I'd need a 1992 Ford Tempo GLS Coupe and a '85 GL Diesel Coupe. But, alas, those are mere dreams until next fall.
@FordTempoFanatic: Its our anniversary!: Victory is mine!
@Syrax:
@FordTempoFanatic: Its our anniversary!: Failure.
@FurtiveParsnip: Why thank you! I enjoy your posts quite a bit as well.
@engineerd: I believe it was in the Toyota Prius Hybrid road test. :)
@Mad_Science: I am truly honored kind sir. I love Jalopnik, and all my fellow Jalopians. Or is it Jalopites?
@bzr: Damn you Jalopnik and your lack of an edit button. On the other couple forums I am a member of, I usually have to edit posts two or three times until I get the post free of grammar and spelling errors, or worse, factual errors.
@beercheck: So, Ford Tempo Fanatic wants pussy.
@theeastbaykid: I was including Ontario, CA fool. We owned that at one point, right?
I am in no way unhappy about this decision. Frankly, I find their track tests of exotics pretty boring in comparison to the work they've done with cars like a '89 Camaro or a Toyota Hilux.
