That car is... AWESOME. That is about all I can say about the new SHO, and I think it sums up the new car's attitude very well. Ford needs Taurus, or a car like Taurus, to save their ass and their reputation. What kind of world is it where there is a Taurus without an SHO? After a good, oh, about half a decade with

@PHIL: The Citation? Its not just about being FWD. Its about standard multiple port electronic fuel injection, available All Wheel Drive, and multiple body styles, transmission options, and engines. Yes, the Tempo and Topaz offered two gas-powered four cylinders, a diesel four cylinder, and a 3.0L V6, but does that

@Van Sarockin: Yeah, but with Tempo, you get the hot babes! I jest. Speaking of Tempos, I am off to go find a junk yard specimen with a salvageable engine block heater. It got cold again and the old gal won't catch, and I've had the suspicion the heater is to blame.

@Tanshanomi: I am truly honored kind sir! That poem truly encapsulates the spirit of the Ford Tempo enthusiasts. Yes, enthusiasts. There are more then one!

@Slantsick, Ethel's love-child: Some say I like Tempos too much. Some people also say I am crazy. Why? Because I dream of Atomic Super Men... and Atomic Monsters...

I'm thinking the Ford Tempo is the most beautiful car out there. Hang in there for a second. For me, its the look of innovation, forward thinking, doing what you know is right even though all your competitors are still offering rear-drive boxes with gutless small block V8's. The Tempo's very design is all about

I do not like.

@IH_kumicho: And here I thought it was only American automakers that drag outdated models on for far longer then they should.

I love it. Very handsome truck, as were the previous installments.

Woah. 11MPG. My '94 Chevy truck gets less then that!

Front Drive Fail.

Man. I wish I could say "I traded down to an SL 550."

Thats a bummer. He seemed like one of the only businessmen (if he can be called that) who was also a car-guy. At the same time, he was a little to ignorant to help GM as much as he could have. By ignorant, I mean he didn't push build quality and material quality as much as he should have. My '89 Ford Tempo has a

So is the Ford F-450 Super Duty still better (or at least, better looking) then the Ram 4500? Seeing as you're the only people who have seen it. Not that I WANT to see it (it will only depress me I am sure).

@In Memory of Number_Six, Clad In Pleather: Truth. Anyone remember when Chevy and Toyota made some awesome compact trucks? I loved my old S-10. That thing was like a K1500 that was shrunk in the washer. Same utility, same awesome work prowess, just a little smaller and more nimble with better fuel economy.

Maybe an F-100 with all the luxuries and high-tech crap would work. Like a step up from Ranger, but maintain the fuel efficiency and compact truck attitude. Something to compete with all the other mall runners out there that seem so popular.

Ever think that its the Ranger's old school basic-ness that makes it the best damn compact truck on the market? Tried and true reliability, simple and easy to work on, small and nimble for a truck. I'm sick of all these heavy "compact" trucks that started coming around in the early 2000s. Every single American and

It eats vtak and craps awesome.

I've got a little Shetland Sheepdog, whom I named after my 1994 Chevrolet Cheyenne. She loves to go on rides, and I don't mind her coming along. I'm a clean freak, so when she rides in my Ford I'll put the car cover on. She behaves for the most part. Occasionally she will want to ride on my lap, and she doesn't like

This doesn't even appeal to the part of me that loves cars and girls.
