Not bad looking cars in my opinion. They looked a lot like the RWD "compacts" from Detroit in the Malaise era. One thing I will say is, why the heck is Jalopnik not featuring any Tempo's?? Come on, if a FWD '84 Chrysler fits the criteria, why not the FWD 1984/1985 Tempo? They sold in large numbers when new, they

Dude. That dude on the left (Wert I think his name is), scares the hell out of me.

You can't call it anything but El Camino. Sport Truck is boring, El Camino is bad ass. As for the video... Bob Lutz is awesome. Only business dude who is really into cars.

Sad to see such an amazing truck go to waste. Gladiator's always stun me. Mainly because they are a Jeep, thats a truck.

Nice. If only it weren't ugly.

Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis, Lincoln Town Car, and New York City. Best things in this world.

And a '08 F-450 Super Duty driving over a '88 Corolla.

Personally I think it was retarded. Chrysler's best designs came out of that studio. Who knows though, it might not even effect anything.

Disgusting. As are all Nissan's.

Wow, the G8 might be worth a damn.

All I will say is... If freaking late 80's Camaro's are allowed in DOTS, why aren't first generation (1984 to 1987) Ford Tempo's allowed to be posted??? Come on, the first gen Tempo's are far more retro, rare, unique, and old looking then any F Body Camaro. /end.

Good. But could have been better.

Thats a Toyota I would own. Seriously, what ever happened to all the bad ass Toyota's? After the early-to-mid 1980's, all imports (especially 'Yota) became... Lame.

"and be out 60 pounds (which is like $5,000, right?)" <- Epic.

Monaco by far. The Charger is a more aggressive, "look at me" cool. The Monaco is a more subtle cool. Thus win.

1992 Ford Tempo GLS. 3.0L Vulcan V6 standard (good for 130-140HP). In all seriousness, the best "bang for the buck" in performance is by far the Dodge Challenger SRT-8, with the Pontiac G8 GT coming close behind. If a "performance car" is not RWD, then its not really a performance car.

People should be aware that industry leader Ford Motor Company was also offering all wheel drive variations on their compact sedans, the Ford Tempo and Mercury Topaz. Both had standard AWD between 1987 and 1991 on select models.

The only cars that look good in white are the Lincoln Town Car and Continental. All others look retarded.
