Some cities/provinces in Canada do require them I believe. Not down here in the good ol USA. Sometimes I wish they would down here too.

I would say that up Up North here in Fargo, the large majority of drivers run all seasons all year. Really only enthusiasts spend the coin on winter tires that I have seen.
