I don't think you needed to be so condescending about it, but I agree with you. I think a lot of Massachusetts residents only vote Democrat out of habit. Their opinions are pretty conservative, especially if you are outside of Boston or otherwise not on a college campus.

The Tea Party has a strong hold on NH because they don't like paying taxes up there. No income tax, no sales tax. Also, they love their guns. A LOT.
