How many car guys actually knew these where already on sale? Lets be honest, I have a fiat dealership near me, and I had no idea. Took one out for a drive this weekend... nice car, and alot of car for the money vs an s4 or 330/340 which is the true competitor. These did not really hit dealerships in Jan, but about 1

I agree with him. They never tried to convince Americans that diesels, where not slow, loud, and dirty. Lets also look at the different goals of US and Euro pollution. The US is stuck on particulates, and Europe on CO2 emissions. With Americans being very hesitant to even consider diesel they never really tried, and

Odd Boxter Spec series are not in there at all... Seems alot more accessible then a 160k cup car that you can’t drive to the track.

Speed limit signs are not defined as regulatory in that publication.

Not in California, that law does not exist in CA.

In California there are 2 laws in regards to speed, faster then conditions and safety permit, and not faster then 55 or 65/70 as marked. So technically if something is marked as 35mph there is no actual law specifying you can only go 35. That being said in most cases it is warrented. There has been 2 cases that I am

I have extensive high speed driving experience and hold racing licenses, driving a high performance car that has been maintained immaculately and there is zero traffic on a freeway on a straight 5 mile stretch with no on ramps and perfect visibility. Under that reasoning, why should I not be able to go 100 mph?

Reckless driving would cover driving backwards at high speed in almost any state.

1 seasons worth of bad bits in an even worse segment, just had its payoff.

Or every Diesel on the planet runs Bosch engine management.... Its not up to Bosch to program them to MFG specs. Really nothing to see unless there is some proof somewhere, but at the end of the day its the Auto MFG, not Bosch who OK’ed the software.

When cold the material is to hard for any bite, they need to warm up to be a “sticky”

The 260 was slower and had less power then the 70-71 240, the 72 and 73 both had less power then the launch cars and the 260. The 280's where also slower due to weight and more smog gear. Interesting stat was the 1970 240z was the fastest Z made until the 300 twin turbo..

But I agree with what you said. 137hp in the

The car that could have been...

At this point everything on the market was under 100hp... Till the 240z hit with the 150hp inline 6 2.4liter... these had 200hp, and where actually lighter then the B engined I4 cars. double the HP ditch weight... These things where amazing. 3 things killed them. Early reviewer cars had

MGB GT V8 is the official name of this one as it has the Aluminuium Rover neee Buick V8 in it.

Try Porterfield R4S pads. The 911 guys have been hip to them for a bit, and now the M guys are getting in on the action. Originally made for Police Cruisers, great initial bite,no noise, low dust, the holy trifecta, and they work on the track and and can reign in an AMGs 45 tons of weight.

Go to a Nascar race in the south.. This is almost a documentary....

In all fairness, the decklid is only about 20k i think. THe 144k number is a ZO6 with the supercharger and the aero deck lid.

No, just less then a mile from each other, and Mothers does all PR in house.

Considering thier offices are about 1 mile from each other, not a huge surprise. But Mothers does all their own PR in house. I’ve seen this car 4 times, each time I thought it was a normal Z06 untill I saw the different badge on the back. TBH the new tailgate does not make that much of a difference. I was really

This year is a developement year on the engine, they scrapped the original one and this is all new. Next year with 2 teams running a fully developed engine should be interesting. No one expected it to be good this year, then again no one expected the engine to be this unreliable.
