It just irks me that Everytime the 959 or 288gto come up this group B myth about rally comes up. Myth may not be the best word. Misinformation. Hell jalopnik did an article on this issue last year and the next day someone made the group b rally 959 assumption.

Yes, but it was not built for rally... it was built for street... There was two group B’s with the same formula and they got the same homogloten numbers. The 288 was never to be rallied just like the 959. The 953 which looked liked a 959 was rallyed but was not a 959 it was a 953 which Porsche claims is a 911 varient

288gto was group b road just like the 959 was.

Tyler,

Some misc engine for a boat powering a pump or hydro system.

As long as you are about 1/4 mile away from the ocean it really makes no difference. Its our warmer and dry weather that really stops the rust.

Because poly bushings give a very harsh ride. It is a trade off, poly are harder but increase the amount of noise and harshness, where rubber is softer and transmits less noise and vibration.

I thought this already sold.... If it was closer to me and I had parking I would have bought this when it was on Bringatrailer a few weeks back.

How is he heavily implying an obvious first gen cls with at least 90k miles and deferred service, new from the dealer? I re watched it and it is just a trick of wording... but 900 bucks of service on a 90k cls owned by someone who is deferring maintenance and going to the cheapest place to get it serviced a prime

Side note....

I had no idea the Pueblo was still on the roster! the odd things you find!

Still can cover more terrain then R2D2.. Apparently in Space there are no Stairs....

Nice pic as it acknowledges the Bentley Speed 8 as actually being that Audi, and not in fact a Bentley.

Wow that thing really did loose alot of fluid. Those are not 2 tone helicopters, that golden brown on the back is all some type of fluid....

Yup as no one has a parking spot where they can plug in ok thanks... Rentals suck

In CA and for every other member of the M3 forums that has dealt with diminished value it takes a few months to hash out, way past the time when they would decide to factor in diminished value. The insurance companies do not want to pay this and make it a PITA to even get them to agree on any value. Very few cars

Please explain how bigger brakes allow you to dive deeper into a corner? Bigger brakes just mean more heat dissipation and can be driven harder on a track. The base brakes can stop the car just as well on street conditions as bigger ones can. You are limited by tire grip not brake size for braking....

If it has a salvage title, it was totaled. So no diminished value here. You can only get diminished value if the car is not totaled out. It is also a PITA to get it even in CA.

For the record I thought along the same lines as you at first.

guide ropes bringing it in.
