Not most people. People you were exposed to. Most people I knew complained vehemently about Steam. They'll complain about installing a new OS, too, but if Valve do it in an easy-to-use manner then it could still work. Hell, Valve could have it exclusive for a limited time by saying something like, "This was built on

Doesn't allow? What is the last modern game you played that didn't get patched?

You jumped on the part where I said "as someone in an industry that doesn't allow for fuckups." and acted as if I was talking about how the gaming industry doesn't allow for fuckups when I was saying that I am jealous of how the gaming industry does allow for them. Your entire post was irrelevant because you assumed I

I'll probably add it to dual-boot with Windows 7. Just to see how it is. Also, I quite like having excel. :p

Seems to be.

Nothing at all. The steam machine is designed for those who want a gaming PC and are too lazy to build their own. The Steam OS is simply an OS designed for gaming that will be free for anyone to use.

What is a console? The definition used to be a device specifically designed for playing games. They lacked any other functionality. But modern consoles have (Somewhat poor,) features that PCs also have.

I think you are being somewhat naive.

(I'm not in the gaming industry, silly. I'm in the oil industry. You can't make mistakes in this one. Or you lose your job and any chance of being employed ever again. I meant I found it painful in that I'm rather jealous at how lenient people are when a gaming company fucks up.)

I assumed the stubble was a graphical glitch. It looked like one in the picture. :p

You missed one major part here, however. It's harder to fix your fuckup when you've ignored it for so long, especially since it'll have caused the damage by that point.

I think you missed the point of his comment. People told the devs of these games what they were doing wrong. People said that the AH was contrary to the entire point of Diablo. Blizzard even addressed that issue. Then they came and said recently that all those people were right.

Actually it's pretty much the same. EA was arguing that the cloud was necessary for 'core calculations' that go into Sim City. When people disproved that they changed their stance. (That happened a bunch of times and then they just sorta went silent on the topic.)

Nope. I still don't quite see it. Skinny legs with what seems to be wide hips for a guy as well as a fairly androgynous face. And that pose is generally counted as being quite a feminine one. (You can actually google feminine pose if you don't believe me!)

I don't like either of them all that much. But that aside, the fact I used Saints Row is irrelevant. You're all just touchy about GTA.

The professor is a he? :X

I never mocked you for late replies. Don't see why you felt the need to talk about that.

You don't seem to realise what speed-running is or how it is performed in Dark souls. (Protip: You don't fight a lot.) Speed running in dark souls involves ignoring every single mob you don't need in a mad dash for the next bonfire and only killing when they literally block your way. There aren't many moments where

I believe the proof that people are looking for isn't a screenshot that proves someone, perhaps you, beat the game but, rather, that you have both knowledge of the game and show some degree of skill with that knowledge. The fact you can't see how hyper aggressive mobs that wander about the map would change the game is

Oh, by the by, you don't speed-run through Blight town ever. If you had played the game you'd know just to skip it. :p
