People who put this much brain space into their mobile operating system of choice are truly bizarre to me. I mean, I have android devices and they're all rooted and whatever, so I clearly like android. But for the life of me, I can't figure out what would possess someone to spew out the comment that you just did.

Well, to be fair, we've never been the best source for "what's going on in tech"—tech has always been just one part of what we do, since our founding in 2005. And while we do cover news to a certain extent, we're not a tech news blog. It's more often been tech tips and tricks, stuff like that.

Another great trick is to use Shazam to grab a song you hear audibly, and identify it. Now with Shazam there is a feature to take that discovered song and add immediately to a Spotify Playlist. Takes all the manual effort out of discovering new music.

This is Pete Weber — I am the one who called that Rich Aude homer — a "walk-off" against the Louisville Redbirds 20 years ago. Here is the background from Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News: (5/9/94)

Just looks like a bunch of police taking advantage of a situation to use their training. I haven't seen one video yet where their aggressive posture was necessary.

As always. I'm going to wait a week or two (or more) to update. Let others field test it. :P

The gmail app never takes 1.5 seconds to refresh for me, it takes forever and that is only if it actually works. Half the time I have to refresh 3 or 4 times before it actually works and usually takes 10-20 seconds each time. Not much time in the grand scheme of things sure but it is still annoying given that it is

Wouldn't that happen w/ any new program you installed? Just rearrange or, better yet, remove the shortcut on the start screen, which should fix it.

I don't know, it's like feedly but 5$/mo? No thank you.

I think you missed my point. I'd prefer the smart cello-playing, chess-loving nerd any day. My point isn't that beautiful women can't be smart, that's ludicrous...my wife is both. It's that women, girls really, that spend the better part of their lives going from pageant to pageant, and consequently probably take a

Wow. Those huge tits must have stretched your skin pretty thin. Your female-equivalent ITG qualifications aside, you just shat all over someone who was sarcastically pointing out the demeaning cultural expectations of allegedly attractive women in contemporary society. This is not the best way to establish your

I have incredibly impressive tits (34 DDD) an amazing sex drive, and can not only speak cogently on economics, but many other subjects you know nothing about....
I happen to know there are lots of us out here....

I JUST posted another comment about that! I was saying how it would've been nice to live in the days before we knew so much about all these STDs, but there was more syphilis then and there were still unplanned pregnancies, so I guess we should be grateful that we have such good testing and better methods for

Yeah, I'm hating the way people are using this as a springboard for a big Beevis & Butthead-style sniggerfest. This is way too important to be considered funny, in my book.

HPV is an obnoxious, fickle, determined bitch. I say that as someone with a resistant cancer-causing strain. It's really, really helpful when well known and highly visible people mention that their cancer is related to HPV.

That's true, but this doesn't preclude other finance tools. You could use a combination (as I do). Calendar-based budgeting appeals to me because I want to see my projected cashflow on any given day (visually) and I move money around a lot and have irregular income. It's just another way of looking at your money and

Nice tips.
