When I was stationed at Twentynine Palms a classic car dealership in Palm Springs always had a few Panteras for sale in the $35,000 range. It was right on the upper end of what I could afford, and with the post 9/11 re-enlistment bonuses I could have paid it off with money to spare. I fucked up not getting one.

I drove a 2019 Edge Platinum for work for a while, and even in night mode it’s screen sucked. Nearly quadrupling the size won’t do it any favors, I’m sure.

Yeah, its an odd choice, especially since the car has since resided in the showroom. That area is where they had an overflow lot and warehouse, until the warehouse recently burned. That street gets almost no traffic that isn’t from them.

So far I’ve seen exactly one. I guess it really is a proper successor to the MKIV, those weren’t exactly flying off the lots back in the 90's. 

I paid significantly less than that for a 2014 Sportwagen TDi earlier this year with slightly more miles than this cars. I don’t think I could stomach the price and sacrifice cargo space at the same time. CP for me. 

The iron cross was sort of the German equivalent of the Bronze Star of military awards. Iron crosses awarded by the nazis had swastikas in the center. Her tattoo does look like a badly drawn iron cross.
