Celebrities, by definition, have a huge reach and influence by virtue of being celebrities. It’s some middle school wallflower ass thinking to be like “if only the scientists and intellectuals were the celebrities”.

I don’t think I’d agree with that either, but it’s definitely more reasonable.

I think it would work well cribbing ideas from Odyssey as far as having small, tightly knit worlds. I agree that a lot of the goals in Odyssey were really stupid, but that’s because I’m a 30+ year old guy playing a game designed in a way to ensure kids aged 5-10 could complete it by themselves without much difficulty.

This pretty much, I didn’t really bother with the drama, but I generally raise an eyebrow at nonsense like the company responded with. My benefit of the doubt only extends so far though, and when you use it to do something else bad it tends to pull it towards dubiety.

I can genuinely say I’ve never even thought about Alison Janney in a role like this but, honestly, now that I think about it... I’m not sure why I’ve never thought about her in a role like this. It somehow just makes sense in my head.
