I hate when this debate gets reduced to the "breastfeeding is okay if it is discreet" argument. I think it is easier than that. A) We can all agree that breastfeeding is good for babies, moms, and therefore, society. Right? B) If A is true, then we have to support, advocate and encourage it, are you with me? Then C)

The whole "I'm all for public breastfeeding as long as you are discreet thing" gets me worked up so friggin fast. If we agree that breastfeeding is a good thing for the health of babies, moms and therefore, our society, then we need to encourage it.
