Wasn’t familiar with the character. Enjoyed this write-up quite a bit.

Yeah I’ve experienced both those provinces’ systems, as well as BC’s (where I had the best experience), and I generally agree.
Ayoye. Canada’s healthcare system is a bit of a mess — particularly Quebec’s — but it’s almost entirely due to underfunding and mismanagement.
I had no idea he’d grown up among us, but that tracks. He behaves like a shithead Catholic mononcle, and shares the same beliefs.
Now I gotta rewatch Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo. Thanks a lot.
“Wiggle your big toe.”
Came here to say the same thing. This is by design. More births means more workers. If those workers come from poor households, they’ll be more likely to accept low wages and terrible working conditions.
Thanks for the summary. No way I’m watching a whole hour of that nonsense.
Oh riiiight, the blond one who became a gay icon because of his cock ring necklace (among other things). Man that’s funny.
Huh... it just occurred to me that two of the six Ken actors — presumably the main ones? — are Canadian. Neat.
They are more alike than you may have realized.
I mean, John DeLorean was promising to get a new car project off the ground — complete with gullwing doors! — until he passed at the ripe old age of 80.
Cool, good talk.
I’m saying that the merger with AT&T shouldn’t have been allowed, and whatever remedy is taken won’t bring WM back to what it was, with or without Discovery in the picture.
Saw it today with 3 friends (all late 30s to mid-40s, 2 men, 2 women). We all loved it.
I’m neither corporate accountant nor lawyer, but my understanding is that a demerged WM would still have to deal with a huge chunk of the debt incurred during both mergers.
[Street Fighter games have entered the chat]
I mean... the time for that has passed. The merger with AT&T never made any sense and shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Warner Media can’t get back to what it was at this point — at least not without being its own company, which I don’t think is even possible (though I’d love to be wrong).
Yeah, two people close to me suffer from psychotic episodes that affect memory formation and their grasp on reality. Neither really understands what’s going on during the episodes, and they remember nothing after.
I think it works better as an alternate sequel to Alien. Starting Alien 3 by going: “None of Aliens mattered” felt like a bit of a kick in the teeth.
