We were pretty cavalier about meds back then — probably for the best, but also drugs that treat cluster migraines should be in a different category, is what I was getting at.

Regular migraine’s an 8/10 on my end. Sometimes I switch meds and things get gnarly, and I have to avoid light and all of that, but cluster’s on a whole other level.

That... doesn’t sound right.  Accutane (acne medication) features similar risks and is broadly prescribed.  Feels like chronic pain should be a higher priority than acne.
