Specifically, they’re saying, “It was OK to have these thoughts use these words growing up, and I don’t like confronting the fact using these words might make me a bad person. Basically, when someone defends their rigth to say something because of the first amendment, say this:
“So, the only argument in favor of your statement is that it’s not illegal?”

You’re not wrong on this. However, it would be harder to commit mass murder if people didn’t have such easy access to guns.

Surprise surprise, being a member of an ethnic minority doesn’t prevent you from being a racist. In some cases, people can even be racist against their own ethnic group. For example, black cops show similar biases against black and brown civilians as white cops.
