If you can find one, money and space not an issue, and you want something unique, the 1M is highly recommended. They are a bit twitchy in nature so if you like exciting and lots of steering input and corrections, it’s the one you want. If it is out of budget, the std. 135i is quite a bit of car. Proven to be pretty

You have quite a large budget and variance of what you may define as sporty. New vehicle wise, the following are what you may want to consider on your shopping list:

What about a Volvo V70R?

I love the Alfa Romeo GTV concept there, but I can’t help but see a large amount of Nissan IDX concept in there. Not complaining as Nissan abandoned the project.

Thanks for the insight. Frankly, is this that surprising. Back in the Soviet vs US cold war, things were being stolen between both parties. Now it appears China is the new bear (panda) perhaps.

As a Canuck, can anyone explain how this works? The US has NOAA who does survey and research and staffed with civilians only. In this case, there is a US Navy Ship, where Navy usually implies military and defense ties, but it’s run by civilians only doing ocean survey in a somewhat contested area. Is it just me or

German, fuel efficient, fun. E90 BMW 335d.

If Infiniti is a must in the decision process, why not a EX35? 37? QX30?

She is one awesomely respectable driver. Had the pleasure of meeting her once in the paddocks. What a truly inspirational individual who is down to earth, yet well spoken, full of class.

Focus is actually a pretty good drivers car. I had the pleasure of flogging on up and down Yosemite this summer. Don’t look down on your ride! Enjoy and safe motoring.

ROFL. Good point. I experience the same with many of the newer cars. They seem to glide on forever as if the physics of friction and drag don’t apply. Haha. What specific vehicle do you have the pleasure of driving now.

Smart cruise control system? Some of the newer ones will apply brakes automatically for you. Check owners manual as if you’re towing, you have more mass to slow down acting on your brakes.

Engage and disengage brakes to slow vehicle down incrementally. The moment of disengagement permits the rotors/drum and pads/shoes to get air and cool down resulting in better and longer lasting performance. Only caveat is to plan way in advance and leave sufficient braking space to get speed under control. Also adds

Most people assume their modern automatics with grade logic control will upshift/downshift for them based on vehicle angle. Most people also have no idea how a car works and the mechanics and physics behind it. Also, not that many manual cars on the anymore.

He did try to get her attention with a fair share of horn action. Frankly, it’s the culture we live and grow in. It greatly lacks any lessons in class, sophistication, and social etiquettes.

He had a full face helmet on. May have thrown some expletives out, but may not even been heard. I have had my fair share of in helmet expletive launches when other people do things to compromise my safety on the motorcycle regardless if it’s a car, bicyclist, motorcyclist, or pedestrian. Maybe I’m an asshole as well

Haha. But I am sure if you had a piece of coal between your cheeks you would have had a rock you could sell to Tiffanys. Hahaha

Ah. I’ve seen a bunch of them counter clockwise. Guess it was just the day I was floating around there for drifters. I’d hate to go clockwise from the last turn onto that long front straight. There a dip near the apex of the apex that usually catches people off guard. Furthermore, overcook it sideways and you’re into

Lol. Yeah. Medical rated equipment had longer lifespan than dogs haha. Glad to hear the units are not failing to power up. Guess we did engineer and mfg them the PSU correctly.

Have they ever updated that system? If I recall, my company designed abd manufactured the power supply for that thing some 10 to 15 or more years ago?
