Atari 5200 featured an analog stick, as did the Vectrex which came out around the same time.

Playstation had a stick (dual-stick) controller released in April 96 which was 2 months before the N64 was released. It was just a big bulky ugly controller.

Sega Genesis didn't have Backwards Compatibility (built in from the factory, an addon was later released to make it so) but it sold 4 times more consoles worldwide then the Mark III/Master System/Master System II which came before it....

So how does like the Atari controller (and all the other consoles from back in that era) that came with a Joystick controller not count as the first widely used version of a controller with an analog stick?

In 2011 Ferrari called their F1 car the "Ferrari F150", Ford started a lawsuit in February so Ferrari changed the name to "Ferrari F150th Italia" & Ford dropped the lawsuit.

What engine does the Star Mazda cars run? Or that F2000 (Formula Ford) "Powered by Mazda" series that Indycar has? It could be sourced from one of those possibly.

Kind of like those awesome CanAm throwback cars that were supposed to be an ALMS support division starting last season. l0l

I've had the basic $20some dollar tier of Verizon DSL for years (and I don't even get the max speed of what it's advertised as 98% of the time) and have never had any problems playing games online, be-it FPS games (MAG) or various racing games even when other people are using other computers in the house.

Ok but if you're not to lazy to shop around online for a good deal & promo codes you can get a lot of new console games for cheaper then the $60 pricetag too, now maybe not more then $10 cheaper (usually) but cheaper none-the-less.

The sound from the Speedway in the video (especially at the end) sounds more like an Indycar or some other type of car besides a Stockcar.

Caterham last year was actually within striking distance of having a car finish in the top 10 quite a few times & actually has a pretty good average finish.

Not only that but if you time your updates right (meaning it's an update by choice, not an update by failure) so they're around Black Friday thru Christmas and know how to bargain hunt (Newegg, TigerDirect + Promo Codes) you can easily save tons of money on those upgrades.

Back around Christmas there was a 1996 Toys 'R' Us catalog posted here and I looked through it and adjusted the 1996 prices to 2012 using an inflation calculator http://bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm Here are the results.

I never understood the whole backwards compatibility thing... Just keep your old system for the 2 or 3 times a year you feel like playing an old game.

PS3 lets you download/view porn. Actually if you have the little camera you can use it to upload porn too......

Honestly I'm on the fence about going to the next-gen or not. I had a Motorstorm 80gb PS3 that YLOD'd in 2010 & I didn't replace it til early 2012, but after the first month I didn't really miss console gaming. I've always played PC games (racing games, The Sims, SimCity, those Truck driving games, things like that)

Ziff Davis used to be great & then 2000 happened and their magazines went to crap shortly afterwords, they sold off TechTV, and their online properties continued to be mismanaged to the point that pretty much everybody who followed them went somewhere else.

And here is #4 which is the same as #3 but with the PS Vita camera.

I agree too, I've got big hands and the design works perfectly for me. Yes I've been using the Playstation controllers since before Sony even released the dual stick version, but still I've used the Xbox style controller since the old Microsoft Sidewinder days and I've always thought it was an awkward layout.

#3 moves the Start & Select buttons in addition to the PS button relocation from #2
