What's missing in the story is rhythm. If you have a completely different rhythm, you won't feel awake when the alarm sounds. This will take some adjustment.
In the Netherlands, tip if you think the service was good. Somewhere around 10% is very much appreciated, yet, giving a tip is not "enforced"
Well, I've converted a full-blown pc into an HTPC. I'm trying to explain mainly, an HTPC doesn't have high requirements when running XBMC ;)
I want to double-vote!
My system is an old AMD Athlon 2800+ with AGP VGA. Works like a charm. Replaced the cooler on the CPU with an old Zalman I had lying around. Even on it's lowest speed, CPU-temp doesn't go above 40 Celsius...
Considering I have Ubuntu installed, with 2 partitions on a 250G harddisk.
Don't get me wrong, I love XBMC!
Funny... #1 is about XBMC becoming a video game console. Where the X stands for XboX, to turn a video game console into a HTPC... What goes around comes around?
Just check youtube for a few howto's. It's not hard. Important is cleaning off the old thermal compound. Most new coolers come with new thermal compound pre-applied.
Where's the #openthread?
Get a solid, good supported Arctic cooler. It's my default manufacturer for any PC. And check your bios, make sure it says your cooling performance somewhere (depending on brand, ASUS talks about smart-q, where others just say "minimum fan activity" and "preferred CPU temperature".
Is it me, or do those wooden thingy's look like hotdogs?
Ok, I feel stupid probably, but... doesn't everybody who has space for a real workspace do this? Or something similar?
Sorry for the double heads-up... kinda tweeted and posted together, then figured "hmmmm, that was a double"
There *IS* a Linux client. Packed in RPM and DEB, but a little alienating works perfectly under Gentoo.
Spotify is my favorite. Love it, everywhere I go, I got music, no matter what.
I do not recognize myself. I can enjoy a game that's even a week old, watching it entirely. Except breaks, I skip those though...
True that. But still, it might not be "owned"... it is an important part of my life.
"now what?":
