Agreed, from the perspective that the game has a solid foundation.

Terra Chips

I imagine very few gamers would.

Oh just fuck off already.

It's not actually your property. It's a license. That disk you think you own, you don't technically own it. You just own the right to play it.

Your's is quite possibly the first, purely logical arguement for supporting modes & features (but no actual characters) being placed on the disk before retail.

Meh, for me it's it not about entitlement. It's about understanding thier business model and understanding that there's no need to give them any more money for an inferior product when a superior product will be released in 6-9 months.

Street Fighter has always done this.

You could have given me all the characters first for the full game price, but now I'm just going to wait 6 months and get them all for 50% of the cost when I buy the 'Super' Street Fighter x Tekken used.

I would honestly expect her to react his way. She doesn't want to be the person that split the FGC or brought the magnifying glass down on them when the majority of people looking through it are not part of that community. It's the community she loves and does not want to be alienated from.

We're essentially saying that the way Miranda Pakozdi was treated was the catalyst, and example, but not the fundamental issue for what we are discussing.

'The only reason it was a big issue is because it was aired, or streamed, or whatever the hell they're doing.'

I think you're gonna need an Atari Jaguar to handle these visuals.

Semantics. Drop sponsorship, whatever.

Your definitions are off.

And by 'community' we are lf course referring to a group of asshats that don't know how to deal with women or their own insecurities, who have surrounded themselves with other asshats that don't know how to deal with women or thier own insecurities.

Yeah, she's so guilty...what with the sitting there, shifting uncomfortably, trying to ignore him, and the multiple attempts to change the subject.

Yeah, saw the video. That will cause a controversy.

It doesn't happen often on the Internet, but I have to agree 100% with you on all points. He should definitely not be given a voice in any form or fashion.

Okay, you've experience this, and damn that sucks, but please, let's be explicit about what 'culture' he's really talking about here.
