Considering $14,775 is $26,300 in today’s money, it is amazing what you can buy for new for less than that these days.

Looks like the State of FL did a terrible job painting over the tan when they sold the car and now after many years the paint has faded to revel the original paint job. Unfortunately you can’t fight city hall or the poor workmanship of a government employee.

I purchased a 392 Wrangler in 2022, under sticker mind you, and while it is a fun vehicle, its build quality is not worthy of its price tag.

I thought this was already known, didn’t Jeep even say this themselves?

Generally there are allot of dumb modifications, most done by young people either because they don’t know better, haven’t thought it through, are rebelling against older car culture, or any number of other reasons.
Locally the biggest modification done by all ages I see allot, is trucks with large and super wide

Counterpoint, May all-terrains have better/tougher construction than an Hwy tire, so if you are going to see any extended gravel roads, they may be a better idea. Also many have better snow ratings than hwy tires.
Back in 2021 we bought a suv w/ 22s, I switched them out to a stock 18" wheel with all-terrains. We hit a

I bought a wrangler to leave in the mountains, in the mountains it is a great vehicle and I love it, but in a large city or out on the hwy, I see absolutely no point to it. Additionally the build quality on it is pretty atrocious.

As far as irrational hatred.
Chargers/Challengers, I’ve driven a few and they are fun

agreed,  they brought HP to the masses and the worst of humanity bought them.

Maybe it fell off a transport truck.

Texan Here,
I remember years ago my family in Oklahoma said once they stopped doing inspections, the crap cars would just naturally disappear.

The amount of people circumventing they system though fake tags, money under the table, or just driving around with out of date tags is very high. The people that care about

Houston here:
I-45 is BAE (Big Altima Energy) with at least one hub cap missing, dent in the bumper, and mismatched panel.
610 is work truck central
I-10 is Large SUV or Crewcab truck

Its a huge issue in Houston, they are pretty easy to spot as either expired or there is so much tape on the back of the car, that its clear the temp plate has been taped on 15 different times. HPD doesn’t do anything, some of the smaller departments will enforce it, but that is few and far between.

It would be in TX’s

GM and their DOD/DFM on V8 vehicles. I purchased HP tuners just to disable it. If proper maintenance is not done, the lifters stay collapsed causing a misfire. The newest generation of trucks the ECMs are so locked down you can’t tune it out yet.

Similar to the AUDI mentioned, Jeep has a function where if the driver’s

Best: Was looking for a new 2018 GMC Sierra in the summer of 2018, found one 2 states away that I was going to fly up and buy, it was 10k or so off sticker. Ended up finding one locally, but with more options and internet price was $6k more than the one a few states away. On the off chance they would do better, I

I remember seeing these things lightly camouflaged testing around Vegas one trip, thought they were odd then and now.

My 4th vehicle was a 2001 Silverado with 70K miles, I purchased it as the first cars I had we’re not easy to work on. The first major project I did was long tube headers, somehow I managed to not only not break the bolts going from the manifolds to the rest of the exhaust, but all the header bolts came out of the

Thought of another.
Aunt and uncle were road tripping from Oklahoma to Maine, their 2011 Escalade developed a misfire around Erie, PA. They drop the car off at the local Cadillac dealer, being labor day weekend, they had someone tow their trailer to the local RV Park. Long story short, the local dealer did a parts

Early 2000's, at 16/17 I had my first truck, 5 year old F150 with 160K+ miles, I had one of those lifetime alignment things at the local brake place. Went in one day and was told the truck needed $500 in tie rods, ball joints, and etc to properly align the truck. I told them I couldn’t afford that and left.
Luckily I

As a reoccurring GM customer, quite a good one at that, if I could sit in a meeting room with every manager and executive that thought this was a good idea, I’d tell them to go take a long walk off a short pier into boiling acid.

I’m sure onstar has its positives, but each year the dealer makes me talk to the Onstar

Anything in the NE, PA, NY, NJ, and etc. People, narrow roads, and construction everywhere. As a Texan who usually road trips to NV, NM, CO, & CA, the family agreed heading to the NE was way worse than going west. Also Louisiana, i-10 specifically.
