Haha, thanks. I'll do the same for you. Four is definitely enough, and I hope you don't have to go through it again.
Yep. I mostly gave up dairy about 10-12 years ago, at least in large quantities. So no more bowls of cereal with milk, glasses of milk or heaping bowls of ice cream - due to a perceived lactose intolerance that seemed to just appear all of a sudden. Perceived because it wasn't something I was diagnosed with, but I…
Ha, no...that's great. I like that you consider it both of yours, too. It takes two to get through something like that. I wasn't driving myself to the hospital that morning, that's for sure.
My God, that's terrible. I can't even imagine having to lay there trying to endure that pain for 30+ minutes with no one able to help you yet. Gaaahhhh. I just shuddered thinking about that.
I pissed it out while I was still in the hospital. Sad thing was (I mean, it was sad to me) I swear that toilet had the quickest, most sensitive autoflush of any toilet in history. Before my brain could fully process what had happened (hey, I finally peed!), that little thing was gone. No grabbing it for urinalysis or…
Exactly. It felt like a fist-sized, thorny boulder tearing through me. But when I finally shot it out in the toilet (repeat- finally!) it hit the water with a weak little 'sploorp' and looked exactly like the black grain in your plate of Uncle Ben's Wild Rice. In other words, orders of magnitude smaller than it felt.
I could not have described that any better. I had a kidney stone last year a few days before my own wedding. I was on a hospital gurney, having what probably looked like a massive seizure while 2 people held me down as 'Shecky' (ha) moved along inside me. All while my wife-to-be sat at the foot of the bed watching,…
I agree. That's why I screenshotted it and got off that page as quickly as possible. Don't want to mess up the 'hey, that's not a terrible group for the US' joojoo.
And I'm a guy who's wife leaves half-full glasses of water all over the house.

I have the same Lepai amp + a pair of Polk bookshelf speakers. How do you hook your sub up to it? And do you use headphones with that same setup? I use a splitter at my soundcard, but that causes sound to come out of my headphones all the time (when the amp is powered on), or I have to get down there and unplug them.…
I had the same problem (only with a Nikon D80) and bought the exact camera you're quoting. I wanted as much as I could get while not having to spent $4000 on lenses. So far I love the FZ200. The f/2.8 across the focal range is huge when zooming into the equivalent of 600mm and trying to get a relatively sharp photo.…
Master copy on internal 1TB HDD —> Backup copy on 1TB external HDD —-> Offsite copy on CrashPlan. All daisy-chained in that order - with a time delay in between - so if I screw something up on my master copy, I have time to catch it before it hits the external, etc.
I know! Freakin' jackpot.
The street view image makes the median seem flatter than it was. It was steep enough that my first thought upon coming to a stop was "Holy shit, how didn't I FLIP?"
