It hurts that my country (Venezuela) was identified by slums. Damm socialism.

I don’t know why, but those gif are SLOOOW. I can watch the real trailer in HD while waiting for the gifs to load and animate.

Shortage of food, coffee, drinking or tap water, milk, sanitation? Add blackouts and some crime and it’s like the Olympics are being held in everyday socio-narc Venezuela.

The force that would break those “sticks holding the engines” (as my 10 year old self said) would not be air resistance but inertia. This of course not taking into account some unmentioned fictional but plausible technology. Later series did mention that the warp engines did not push the ship but distort space around

I was going to comment on your arguments and then I realized that, basically, you are only saying “you are wrong, you are wrong, you are wrong”.

You have a very valid point, but that “only real criteria” is in *this* real (?) universe, the one we humans make a Star Trek series. Scientific and engineering criteria should be met in the Star Trek universe, presumably. But then again, their universe’s laws are such that their transporters can give us an evil copy

The Flash looks ridiculous indeed. But I’m somewhat relieved at Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen ... I was worried about his usual weirdoer-johnnydepper-than-Johnny-Depp style.

Well, I for one always thought that the starfleet ship traditional design was a bit impractical. I remember being a kid in the early 70s, wathcing TOS and asking my engineer father why “those sticks that hold the engines” didn’t bend or break when pushing the Enterprise to light speed, and why that neck holding the

I’m Batman. Of the Borg.

I hate it when I come across a potentially interesting article during my Pomodoro break ... and the interesting part is in a youtube video that I should not be heard playing on work hours, and anyway don’t have the (very shared) bandwidth to watch.

Good point, no sunrises/sunsets with the sun near the horizon. But the reactor / sun / orrery could be turned on and off though.

EXACTLY. I have had the same impression since I noticed that the model in the opening credits seems to be concave, as if it is on the inside of a sphere. Add this to the central reactor / sun / orrery so prominently shown ... that may be malfunctioning and causing those whacko seasons?

Just the reference I was looking for. Good cartoon, if I remember correctly.

Me neither, hence the private stalls for that. And by private stalls I had in mind small rooms with complete doors, not the flimsy metal half-door most stalls have.

Good news, we need more SG-x and more Star Trek.

I don’t completely get this issue ... a person does not have to be of a different gender to molest another person, it also happens between people of the same gender.

How can I star your comment more than once?

Phone? From what century is that “phone” thing you speak of?

And now I can’t unsee it
