"Google has finally taken the lid off"....? While my Google Play accont (formerly Android Market) says "Installed" (uh? when?), but on the official page drive.google.com says "Your Google Drive is not ready yet". "The lid" seems not to be completely "off".

Anti-case, mainly because it is equivalent to buying something beautiful and hiding it to protect it, but also because the heat issue.

The original article is in spanish, and in spanish the name of the country is "Argelia". Similar to "Alemania" = "Germany" (Deutschland) or "La Habana" = "Havana". There are parts of the world that are not english speaking.

I think it should be shot into space IF the cable were to snap close to the ground, but if it snaps higher up there would be two pieces left: the upper one being shot into space and the lower one falling back to the ground.

I built a "lamp" using a 15Kohm resistor, a diode, and a very dim blue LED peeking from a common AC power plug, and keep it plugged in at all times (it draws less than 1mA) pointing from above to the wc.

I think we have to thank wikipedia's blackout, wich made the public aware of the issue. Before that it was mostly only us tech types.
