Who else clicked on this expecting a surprise return to WRC by Subaru, or at the very least a Subaru sponsored car. BOOORING!

Ding, ding, ding! Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
The end result of being a special snowflake and getting brainwashed by the grey ponytail at Sacramento State.
The problem with seeing electric cars as a "green" technology is everyone ignores the amount of metals and minerals needed for batteries and motors. Those come from somewhere...and that somewhere is most likely a huge open pit mine
It was more along the lines of a fluffer. Pays other people to do all the heavy lifting, still takes the rockstar status and acts like he is the most important man in the room, when at the end of the day he's just that douchebag talking about someone else's innovation.
This time he's pushed it too far.Not in a truly bad way but still- standing up in someone else's party and telling a mix of lies, half truths and bad truth (tesla will take 5 more years to be profitable?Seriously??!!!??) is doing far more harm than good for tesla. There's no point in annoying everybody more than he has.
Musk needs to clean up his factories. Apparently the Tesla plants ooze toxic waste. He should also either find a deposit of lithium ore within 15 miles of his plants, or move the entire production to the Canadian tundra, where most of the world's lithium is mined. moving the lithium all over the world to make…
I guess I take real issue with this. The best example is the current auto show; what generated the most excitement? EV's? New battery tech? Hell no, all that anyone is talking about is the 600hp Ford GT reboot and some new version of the new version Mustang (with 500+hp)...oh, and Hyundai made a Brat reboot (my fave).…
You know, I think Musk has accomplished a lot, but there are times I hear him speak that just makes me want to say 'fuck this guy'. This is one of those times.
"As proven by scientists...." Always love posts that begin that way. Are these the same scientists who told us 40 years ago that we'd already have depleted petroleum by now? Hope they didn't buy petroleum futures that were due to expire last month? How about you tell us then WHEN approximately the world will "need"…
Elon Musk hasn't been in Detroit for two years and Tesla barely had a presence at the show. So Musk did the next best thing: he flew in to tell other automakers they've been slacking off and claimed Tesla will sell "a few million cars" by 2025.
Sorry Elon, but I have zero interest in driving your appliance. I suspect others feel the same way, and the auto makers know it.
What is hilarious is that Elon Musk, and many of the millenials in this forum who inexplicably worship him, would tell you there's jothing "innovative" about the Ford GT.
"Ancient inefficient technology". Did you grow up being told anything but this?
Oldy but goody rule: don't invest in the guy who tells you he knows with absolute certainty both what's going to happen and when it's going to happen. One thing is not in dispute: there's a lot of petroleum left in the world and could be for a long time. Not only that, efficiency continues to advance, unabatted. In…
I don't car how fast or good looking a car is; if its electric I'm not interested. Its simply because of the sound (or lack thereof). I'll buy a car with good fuel economy, or a high-performance hybrid ,or theoretically a hydrogen powered car; but never an electric.
This guy is such a smug asshole, one of the reasons I will not be buying a Tesla even when they get into the price range that I would spend on an EV.
No he doesnt. He makes something that needs repairing a lot.
To be fair, him saying it is hard to take the OEMs seriously while only a paragraph later talking about taking another 5 years to be profitable is a rather funny juxtaposition...
