It’s nice to finally see more harmony between the front and back end on the new Conti. The MKZ suffered from a total lack of design “symbiosis” as the front of the car looked like it belonged onto a whole other vehicle. Not to mention its interior was total garbage.
No kidding.
I am so glad that Lincoln finally ditched their ‘brand recognition’ double grille design that was truly awful. Hopefully, Lexus can follow suit and ditch their atrocity grille/fascia treatment.
How long before Jaguar has a hissy fit over that grille?! Other than that, this Conti is a real looker, save for that over the top blue combo.
It STILL needs to be longer and lower. Lincoln, you aren’t gonna win by making generic luxury car #87. Lexus has that market covered. Get back to what made the old Continental so cool! That long, low body that seemed to go on for miles.
I’m glad they gave up naming cars with just letters & numbers (MK 666) and back to a name (most) everyone knows. How about it Caddy, an Eldorado anytime soon?
