We’re three brothers then.
We’re three brothers then.
I’d rock a pink car, but then again I think pink guitars and pink shirts are cool.
Maybe sales have been shrinking because of lack of choice. I live in this segment and am currently in my longest stretch between cars because there is so little to choose from (And I was waiting for the still-born RX-7)?
Funnily enough, the Jaguar is a cheaper option to the GT350 north of the border right now. As a Boss 302 owner, I was disappointed to realize I could not afford to replace it with the new Mustang.
I literally just replied to a special email lease offer on this car then left Jaguar Canada’s site to see this post on Jaguar. A sign I should buy/lease this over the others in consideration I guess.
It was pretty great. And I’ve tried in every car since with no result. Sad, really.
Allow me to join the chorus. My Bimmers, while fun to drive, were ALL horribly unreliable. And the rims seem to be made of paper mâché and the tires of rubber sourced from kids’ balloons. And please, don’t get me started on the electronics nor weather sealing.
I blame Mazda. Miller Motor, Rotary Engine, V4. They touch it, everyone else stays away.
I had a late-seventies Honda wagon that if you pushed down hard on the passenger footwell you could activate the brake. Used to let friends drive to freak them out.
I’m OK with this as a race at COTA would be the perfect venue to bring me back to watching NASCAR, which I abondoned after the Car of tomorrow.
Am I doing this wrong?
A car has “soul” when the act of driving it creates an emotional connection.
Oh good god yes, BMW and their electrical issues. After 5 of their cars I retreated to a Ford, of all things. I keep kind of miss them though.
Been going to Detroit and Toronto for 20 years, and this is the first time the Toronto Show left Detroit completely in the dust.
Dad’s slimey too, sorry.
A lesson to be learned. I bought a car just from a press release and to secure it I had to spec it so “all options” and the blue please as it and silver were the only colours shown. Then after I got my confirmation they released the colours including my favourite, orange. Ah well.
Look again. Closer.
I love Velocity Stacks. Just don’t forget to keep the tennis balls in your car for when you’re parked,
Mine.
Alignment and breakage issues. See my post and another above.
