Had one. Loved it, But wish it had the Probes propeller wheels.

Well, knowing a few of the folks who worked on this personally, I can assure you it was a labour of love and involved many late nights, a lot of stress and anguish as they worked tirelessly to deliver a forward thinking homage to a legend and deliver it as both a street and race car all before the year was out. The

Came to comment on his short stature in the photo. Saw many took care of that for me. Clicked stars here and there and left satisfied.

Damn.

The weight shocked me actually. I expected it to squeak under 3000 lbs. Fords keep putting on unexpected weight at the last minute, so what is it Ford keeps forgetting to account for?

Computer is a tool. Like a pen. The ideas still come from the brain. F*ck, as a designer I hate people thinking the computer does all the work? See all the crappy design out there? Nuff said.

You don’t need to be rich to buy it, but it helps. You do have to be rich to own it and employ a full-time detailer.

Any yet I jumped from BMW’s to Fords after tiring of making excuses about their reliability. Loved ‘em, when the weren’t in the shop.

So he’s acting like a petty teen? It’s a car from a large corporation so unless he was buying a truck fleet what did they owe him?

3rd to the RX-7 and NSX but above the Supra in my 90's Japanese dream car garage.

My personal unicorn. I loved the last gen RX-7 but had Nissan as a client at the time. I love those cars and am on an endless quest for a stock blue one with tan interior. Question, why don’t modern cars have arses as lovely as a 90's Mazda?

It’s lower at the leading edge...more akin to the Shelby. I maintain with the ‘05 Mustang, Ford finally realized they had an icon to evolve much like the 911, rather than simply a car to reinvent every generation.

My first ever race livery, which pretty much followed the steps outlined in the article.

Was Scott Maxwell.

Mazda’s car designs during this period were gorgeous. Something to do with the rear end treatment which seems so often an afterthought with other companies.

Yep. I need a new family car as well, and I won’t even look at Mazda’s now till they acknowledge my tantrum.

Yessssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

A rotary Elise? Damn that got me exited.

Maybe true. But I won’t buy one from them if they don’t appeal to my desires as much as my needs.

I don’t get it either. I’ve lost my passion for the Japanese car companies. Without the 70-90's thinking their products are simply irrelevant in today’s world. Damn you, Mazda I’ve been stalling my next car purchase specifically for this RX-7.
