But isn't the GT3 just a facelited 911 then? And how does the price differential work out?

No idea which belongs to what, but even some real vents are ugly (M4), but is this any worse than fake windows to hid how comically large roof pillars are and how tiny windows really are. Stylists are doing their best to hide the fact most modern cars are ugly.

Having owned both a M3 Coupe and a Boss 302 I'm going to side with Mustang owners here, bigger demographic and financial spread and generally car fans rather than brand snobs.

No, it's a more logical more useable, better all road car. And it's better looking to boot. I also expect more hardcore versions to follow, but this is the car I've been waiting for. Track ready without being stupid to maintain. Right on the money Ford.

F1 derived suspension, insanely expensive rubber, still too much weight; so in spite of great numbers it is not an ideal track car to own and maintain, nor is it a great road car. I do suspect the new Camaro platform will perform as well without having to resort to exotic materials. And if you want an insanely

Incorrect sir. This is a Boss 302 successor and designed to be very useable on the street as well as the track, unlike the developmental dead-end that is the current Z/28. I would wager that even the upcoming GT350R will be a more streetable car while being even more hardcore.

wait for the GT350R is you want an overpriced track car like the Z/28. Or buy a real lightweight track car. The Z/28 while impressive is a developmental dead-end.

Because the Z/28 barely qualifies as a street car. It's a developmental dead-end that finally gave the Camaro long overdue bragging rights.

sounds more Lotus FPC V8 than Ferrari. And I'm OK with that.

So copying Chevy's approach to the Mustang is a fail, even though it's been GM's approach forever?

Seems fair, after all the z/28 used a Ford racing partner's suspension.

Is a product legal to sell? Then it should be legal to advertise. Never smoked a day in my life yet I adored JPS livery and was exposed to Marlboro race colours for practically ever. I'm an advertiser. You have a choice. At the end of the day it your choices, your responsibilities.

Who says money doesn't buy happiness?

You speak the truth. The description perfectly matched the experience in a way I could never have communicated so clearly.

love it. It's like a mini Bedford.

So offensive and yet so perfectly described. Bravo.

first of the really ugly Ferrari's perhaps?

I generally find the design aesthetic of the 911's unattractive. Proof that it's a bad design? It doesn't work in two-tone. ;-)

read this post, had to check the user name to make sure I hadn't already posted. The new Fusion is the best looking NASCAR since Bill Elliot's 'birds. Everything in between; crap.

Listen very carefully, everyone: monotone silver/grey paint jobs look like you're losing at life. Your car and your life could both use some colour."
