I kept thinking I was the only one who thought it looked ugly. But as I never read anything negative about it, I just assumed it didn't photo well and must look bloody fantastic in the flesh.

I've always maintained the safest car is the one that can out accelerate, out brake and outmaneuver other cars while providing the most driver feedback and visibility. Might explain why I always felt safe in a Miata with the top down.
I believe it is Dynacorn, with Ford's permission and access to tooling, dies and whatnot. Ford's branding and endorsement is of benefit to both of them.
Just read the piece on Gawker. I swear Gawker will lead me to punt my laptop across a room at some point. How the he** did a superb site like Jalopnik get mixed up with a bunch of psuedo hipster, futurist, journalistic wannabes?
Emotional when used by marketers means evoke "lust" or a desire to own. Basically sell more of the damn things.
How about this, the worlds largest 1 cylinder engine?
Well 3 total, although truth be told the first Caravan was a gift. The current Journey was chosen over the Subaru based on price and a desire to choose domestic I liked the Flex, my wife hated it, and none of the big three offered a true wagon. Seriously looked for a used Jaguar X-type or 3-series wagon, both of which…
I would have, three times over, if there were affordable wagon alternatives to the horrid Caravans and Journeys that we operate as Kid&Krap haulers.
Indeed. That IS all.
Upon seeing this Caddy concept my first though was, now that's a Lincoln". I wish.
I just wish the current Lincoln would show such radical thinking far removed from what it currently produces.
And my first truck purchase ever outside of a business need. Glad indeed.
Yes, big ugly. And uninspired. My pick for winner until Lexus came along with the stooped spindle which is so bad it also nicked second place from the Mazda grin, now thankfully gone.
Actually, I believe that decided a 67 Shelby would be the starting point for the automobile corporate face...and if we must have a corporate face, I'm OK with that.
My 10 year old (this coming week) karting kid and I, a almost 50 year old track hack would love to join you next year. Just so you know, it's the kid pushing for this so you have a year to accommodate some younger Jalopniks.
What shop-teacher said. Makes me very sad.
Dammit, I like Tadge. I haven't bought a GM product in years in spite of serious consideration but this guy alone could sway me. Why can't the other talking heads at GM who participate in forums (cough, cough C5) be this real and laid back?
I left BMW for Ford with my last purchase. I thought I was tired of the electrical gremlins and piss poor attitude of other drivers, but now I think about it it may have been colour choice, or a lack thereof.
Been arriving early and parking below within steps of the elevators for a decade while everyone battles for the roof.
I actually thought the '05 to '13 Targa was the best looking Porsche 911, not just the best looking Targa. I won't be saving my pennies for this one.
