When they split, the rumor was that part of the reason for it was that she didn’t trust him alone with her kid. So if that was true, the adoption might have been a factor.

Not to mention, they took photos of her in the backseat before she was removed. That would not have been done if they thought she needed medical aid. If they didn't know she was already dead, cops would have attempted to administer first aid until paramedics arrived. And paramedics would almost certainly arrive before…
Yeah if she didn’t know, I think would be different legally than if she did since she had no part in conception. Given that her wife says they saw fertility docs, even if she didn’t know her wife proceeded, that could be hard to prove. Then of course it depends on state laws and whether they even consider the issues…
Is that true in the case of children though? Bevause child support is owed to the child, not the other parent, so the other parents pressuring isn't as relevant. In some states rapists have gotten visitation rights to their children conceived through rape so I feel like a parent’s duress might not matter as much when…
Not necessarily. It can take quite a few cycles to actually get pregnant even with well-timed inseminations. So they could have been trying and still use that language.
There have been studies that show that rapists believe that a lot of men do it or condone it and just know they can’t admit it in public, but that raping is actually common and just what men do. That's a problem specific to rape and I think that is why lyrics like this are a particular problem.
I don't really think the Japanese outlook on other cultures is something to aspire to.
Interesting. It reminds me of a study(?) pilot program(? - not sure which) my mom worked on while in med school in the late 70s. She was involved in screening people assigned male at birth who wanted a medical transition. She had to ask them how they knew they were women, and in large part what the patients described…
Yeah it’s clearly a sign THAT HE HAS BLUE EYES AND A RUDDY COMPLEXION. C’mon people, he wears blue like always.
I don’t understand at all the defense “but its not criticizing her aesthetically, its ok to talk/speculate about her health” How is that OK? How is her health your business? I’m sensitive to this because I’ve experienced how chronic illness/disability means your health becomes a lot of people’s business (or they think…
I don't think I ever patted him on the head, but I'm pretty sure "keep up the good work" was once uttered in just the scenario you describe.
I'm pretty sure your kid is going to live forever.
Lol. I ended up married to a large-headed non-actor so who knows what it did to my psyche.
Try dating in the same pool as them! Grad school was a mindfuck where I was still normal-thin but not thin for my school/social scene.
My husband and I are trying now. I anticipate being super excited at first because I succeeded and I like winning, and then I will shit my pants.
I was all psyched for picking out the ring, planning to get engaged, etc. No doubts or anxiety. Then we did it and I was really happy and still no doubts, but I was also really anxious. My then-fiance kept asking me how I felt all night and so I was honest that I basically felt like, "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS A BIG…
Tangentially related: My husband's cousin just had her baby a couple months before he had told me she was due. I was mildly worried until I saw a birth announcement of 7 lbs 10 oz and a full-term looking baby. They are married and have been trying for years with ART, so no cover-up, just a super unreliable husband,…
I think its partly genetics, partly that there is a lot of pressure for them to be super thin and also for the famous ones especially, many resources for them to get/stay that way. People who look good on film tend to have relatively big heads, too, which helps their bodies look thin.
I'm not Korean but I married a Korean guy so I got to wear one for my wedding. We got it from a company in Seoul that dyes and weaves their own silk for the hanbok. If you want to see something really cute, look at these babies in hanbok at their first birthday parties: https://www.google.com/search?q=dolja…
It is Korean. They say in the article she is ethnic Korean, so she wore a hanbok.
