Ghost in the Shell!
Okay, so call me crazy, but I've been staying away from this show.
Well, technically $399.99. But you get the idea.
132? Shit. I'm 6'0 140, and I think that's the lower limits. Well, at least I've saved myself $400!
That's amazing! Never heard of Sturgeon's Law. Good stuff.
Indeed.
And, that's the joke.
Exactly! Why pay a homage to Portal in a movie that, besides the use of GLaDOS's voice, is nothing like Portal. Seems a waste to use her in some cheesy looking run-of-the-mill "sci-fi" movie? Then again, it's a clever marketing scheme. If it weren't for GLaDOS, I would have skipped right over this movie, but now, I…
That's a pretty solid explanation. A good percentage of natural selection would have to go for behavioral traits. Interesting to think about though. Are instincts a sort of... innate knowledge?
Exactly this. I don't have the source, but I recall reading a piece about the nervous system of ants. Apparently, ants don't percieve pain as we do. It's not a feeling of discomfort, but merely a notification. Apparently, when an ant, say, gets it's leg torn off, it's brain just basically lets it know that it lost a…
Haha. Huge indeed.
Hello there fellow Beyer lover. Have you tried the 990's? I had some 770's, wasn't satisfied, took em' back, and got some 990's. They are a totally different experience, much richer bass, more sound stage, and overall better sound reproduction. Just a bit of experience I'd like to share.
Mind making your barricade a little larger? (although, not sure why people are getting crazy over that. It's not like BioShock topped the original Half Life)
Jeez, did they get a new artist or something? Superman looks deformed, and everything else is super amateurish. It looks like they were trying to attempt the style of a certain era of comics, and failed miserably.
LOL.
These sound like my ideal living conditions. Small, yet comfortable space, ambient brown light. I also love the almost clinical feel to it. Very... sterile feel, I suppose. It's just your bed, anyway. Even if it isn't great, you'll likely be unconscious for half the experience, and when you awake, you get to move…
Haha. Scannerbarkly. Like Philip K. Dick's "A Scanner Darkly" I would imagine.
lol.
I know it's real from the first part. My comment was a joke referring to the last two lines.
