It's confusing to people who don't know comics because Watchmen is actually a graphic novel, not a franchise like Superman that everyone knows. I actually heard of the movie and thought "Okay, so Night Owl is a parody or non-licensed version of Batman, am I reading that right...? Is this a parody or a rip-off or

I'm not a comic buff, don't generally watch Marvel movies and don't care too much about their universe and everything.

Never a good sign when a comment has the word "derp" in its first sentence.

There are two sides to each story. Hate mail is not okay obviously, but having been in a modding community for some time, I've seen this type of post before.

They are not, and frankly I don't think the original creators would be the best choice for the job. That one guy had a Keen-inspired Kickstarter a while back and it was the worst.

Completely agree. Commander Keen is just the kind of light-hearted adventure that always was and always will be popular, I bet they could turn it into a huge success if they revived the franchise. I have no idea why they don't give it a try.

The problem isn't that she replied in a weird way, it's the fact that she was asked at all.

This test tells you how well you see color. 0 is perfect, my wife got a 2, I got 183.

It's definitely a good opportunity to talk about consent - but Temkin is definitely not the one to start it, and demanding it from him is extremely wrong and unfair.

Quick recommendation for the German readers: Unterwegs in Düsterburg is one of the best story-driven RPGs I've ever played. It's unusually polished, has lots of choices and consequences (though they are pretty hidden in the system, you just do things and stuff happens), a great (and hilarious) cast of characters and

Wow, that Kotaku UK website is beautiful! And look, the most important tags are right at the top! It's not just a stupid blog, it's actually a website with features and everything!

It seems like it's actually a weird mix of Civilization and Minecraft. And I'm not sure but it sounds like some units are actually played by you and your friends, like spies? I don't know. I agree that I don't quite see the point.

Guys, if you're curious and want to see what it looks like or what kind of RPG system they're developing. There's plenty of information available in the updates. Check their homepage! :)

There are extensive updates about almost all of the available classes already. Check the homepage!

It's just a very complicated way of saying "welp, better than nothing". Yeah, kind of meaningless. No, Marimvibe is not wrong, I'm pretty sure he got the author's intention right.

What you're not getting is that the sentence implies that we have 100% of what is achievable at this point in time.

It is true, but Skyrim is still a vast improvement over Oblivion. Oblivion was almost empty except for the cities, Skyrim at least has many, many villages that are actually more than one or two buildings. I mean, Whiterun has a real sprawl around it with farms and small villages nearby. I was really happy about that.

This sounds great, I'll give it a try.
