Sorry yes, I should have put that disclaimer on. I miss my homeland for many reasons, but access to content ain't one of 'em.

They replaced the 256MB A4 with a 512MB single core A5. This in turn beefed up the performance enough to allow for 1080p video.

Agreed, right now the 360 is King.

It's at its best when you pair it with another iOS device. Between AirPlay and the Remote app, it sings as a companion device. I dusted off Real Racing 2 HD when I got my new iPad and it's a few physical controls shy of Nintendo's master vision for Wii U... today.

"Apple's two device walled-garden."

"The term isn't referring to right-wing Republicans in the U.S., but those in Japan who are typically very conservative and very nationalistic."

Likewise. There is far more to the App Store than ports of shitty Flash games. I guess you've been so brainwashed into thinking you have to pay ridiculous sums of money to get a great game that anything less must be terrible.

The device will run any game at native resolution that is coded to do so. Right now, that's not very many as developers haven't had the time to make the necessary tweaks to their code and art resources.

Shadowgun looks pretty decent, it's not optimised for the hardware yet though. Mass Effect: Infiltrator is very similar to Shadowgun.

All of them. Every last one. And there is nothing about the iOS ports to justify paying. Everyone who makes games should do it for free, and anyone who hosts/distributes games should suck up the bandwidth costs.

My dad was raised in Oz, I like to make fun. :D

In their minds' eyes, all Australians see all sentences punctuated in this fashion? At least judging by how they talk?

I got my first AIM username (well technically it was a full AOL username) in October 1996. I use AIM every day at work - it's the office's preferred means of communicating. If it dies, rather than being open sourced or its good bits being donated to a rival protocol like XMPP, I'll be very sad.

It all seems like people are trying to retrofit his tweets to lend credence to the rumours. It couldn't possibly be that he - as someone who works for a PC gaming company and thus is a PC gaming enthusiast - is building the system for personal use?

I practically live on vodka and Red Bull. Name one of those cities so I know to shun it. :D

Escape Plan and Mutant Blobs Attack are both well worth your cash. Great gameplay, great art direction, and they both make good use of the system's touch functionality.

I don't think a dedicated gaming system is ever going to happen with Apple. I would like to think it's a key component of a future Apple TV iteration (with optional Bluetooth controllers), though. App support on Apple TV is the next logical step.

I think a lot of people are confused by the Note. It's too big to be a usable phone, it's too small to be a decent tablet, it just hovers in the middle. Which is fine if that's what you want, but I would guess that it's not what many people want.

I'm just saying - the first though you had was that it was Apple, when Facebook are major dickbags about this sort of thing.

You will probably find that Facebook took it down for violating their policies on impersonation.
