Stories about grifters whose grift blew up in their faces two days in a row...this is one of the BEST Xmas presents evah!!!

I do think many doctors, no matter the gender or color of their patient, hate to be questioned or challenged.  God complex.  But, it is absolutely more difficult for women and even more difficult for black and brown women to get proper treatment from the medical system.

The VA has been defunded quite a bit by the pro-war republicans.  not a surprise it’s a shit show now.

The VA has really gotten a bad reputation for the way they treat patients who have already sacrificed so much. Congratulations on your 37 years. I hope you are proud of yourself and any doctor who knows you should feel blessed to have you as a patient. But what you say is absolutely true. There have actually been

I wouldn’t say especially Black women. They’re doing this to Black men, too. I’m exhibit B, and have some stories happening right now that are discriminatory. I can’t prove this is why they’re blowing me off, but 2 of my physical issues involve a lot of pain, and the VA won’t do a damn thing about it. If I go to the

So her complaints on social media about being treated poorly caused her to be treated poorly?

I believe Dr. Moore. Racism in healthcare is widespread and well known. Studies have shown that trained, educated professionals still harbor bigoted beliefs, and no doubt take them to work every day and it effects the quality of care of POC.

And even if she was some rando off the street she would’ve deserved the same amount of humanity and care  in such a vulnerable position.

Especially if the victim is dead and can’t answer to any of the bullshit you’re spewing. Bonus.

Very true. It reminds me of the US veteran Black doctor who was thrown under the bus when he derided politicians and spoke up for health care workers suffering because of the lack of direction from hospitals administrators and got “suspended”. This is simply profits over people.

Victim Blaming is an American tradition, right there with America’s ‘Totally not racist’ racism.

Hospital administrators are rarely on the same team as the physicians. You will note that this man is an MBA, and not an MD, and his focus is more likely to be on synergy and other business bullshit rather than providing actual care to people

How many times have we heard that from bigots, that they felt “intimidated” or “scared” by the people they are victimising? It is just another bullshit piece of blame evading by bigots when they are caught doing the nasty to someone. Like a Karen bursting into tears when the cops slap the bracelets on them.

Yep, and he did what it takes to preserve the hospital. If I recall, the doctors and possibly the nurses don’t always work for the hospital. So by throwing them under the bus, they can claim no fault. Total bitch move though/

Hooo boy, where to start...

He just had to go with the age-old stereotypes about Black women being somehow angry and intimidating just by merely existing. She was a doctor for crying out loud, not some rando off the street, but here we are again.

Yes, when all else fails when it comes to trying to discredit racist tactics, blame the black person. Deflection 101

Yes his message does not sound the way he thinks it sounds at all. It comes across as victim blaming. How dare she advocate for herself to be treated equally.

This is such absolute bullshit. Bad nurses and doctors do this all. of. the. time. Especially to female patient. For three months I tried to get a cortisone shot in my hip. I was on the phone with nurse A then nurse B then someone else. I didn’t know who I was speaking to any of the time because they won’t identify

Not only did Dennis Murphy throw his own staff under the bus and accused them of being too “intimidated” to save a life, he made the entire hospital look incompetent and racist.
He’s the president and CEO of IU health systems.
He’s not a leader, he’s a punk ass slimy bitch too worried about litigation versus admitting
