I’ve been pretty impressed with Wonkette lately- there’s a bit of the Feel the Bern stuff in the comments, but it’s generally kept quite civil, and there’s a much more even spread between Sanders and Clinton supporters. Although the response to this article indicates to me that there are actually way more Clinton

Happy to help out! I hope it works for you. I was getting fit to be tied with seeing nothing but Bernie memes on my feed, and that was months ago (before I had even decided who I was voting for!). I could never have made it this long without a filter.

Heh, not a problem at all. I looked around and ended up downloading a Chrome extension called “Facebook Purity.” You can put in keywords, and it will keep them off your feed. I had started out just blocking stories from the various Bernie groups, but it only barely made a dent, and the extension was really effective.

He was apparently making the rounds on TV this weekend saying that he thinks that his “momentum” from Washington, Hawaii and Alaska is going to cause all of the super delegates to jump ship. Bernie, dude, no one is jumping ship. For one thing, you’re not getting anywhere near the kind of wins that Obama was when he

Now playing

That kind of fits, since his hardcore base reminds me eerily of the People’s Front of Judea. What have the Democrats ever done for us, hey?

You could try the Facebook Purity extension for Chrome- it allows you to filter posts by keyword. I managed to get rid of anything with “Bernie Sanders” or “feelthebern.” Not every Bernie meme or post, but a lot of them. It was a huge relief.

Tell me about it. I’ve been making pretty good use of it throughout these comments- it’s surprisingly liberating.

Holy shit, I hadn’t seen that. What the fuck, Bernie? Really? Ugh. Guess his finger wagging, hand waving routine with Clinton in the debates wasn’t just a one-off.

Who knows? As it is now, I didn’t vote for Sanders, but I genuinely respect him and respect a lot of what he says he’s about. If he throws a temper tantrum and refuses to endorse, should Clinton take the nomination, he’ll be dead to me, no matter what shitty reasons he gives to try and support that decision. It would

That is a good description. It also highlights all of the reasons I’m so skeptical about it’s effectiveness.

I told someone straight up that if I wanted to join a personality cult, I’d either go straight to the nearest Trump rally or find a Scientology center, and they got all pissed off at me. But really, that’s what a big element of this is- I’ve talked to too many people who were genuinely shocked to find out about

I’ve wondered the same thing, honestly. I think that if he’s half the man his supporters claim he is and half the person of principle he presents himself to be, he’ll not only endorse her but campaign vigorously on her behalf, because he knows full well that whatever disagreements they have, a Trump or Cruz presidency

Yeah. I was furious when he said that. Still am. I’ll vote for him if (by some miracle) he’s the candidate, but I’ll never, ever forget that he said that. Every time some Berniebro tries to lecture me about how much better he is for women and how he’s a Real Feminist™, not like Hillary, I flash back to that comment in

Well, he’s admitted straight up that the only reason he joined the Democratic party six whole months ago was for the press exposure. He’s actively run against (and beat) Democratic candidates in the past. So really, why would he care about the party or about getting Democratic congressional candidates elected?

That is a great quote, and I’m stealing it for future use. And yes, that’s been my impression of Sanders, as well. Any time I’ve seen him asked about systemic sexism or racism or really anything that isn’t income inequality, he’s either evaded the question entirely and continued ranting about Wall Street or has made

But as the Secretary of State, her job is to support the priorities of the president, not create her own foreign policy. That’s not how the position works at all. She can advise the president, certainly, but once he makes the decision and says, “This is what our foreign policy is going to be regarding X,” it’s her job

For that specific group, if you go to the little arrow in the upper righthand corner of the box and click something that says, “Hide post,” I think, there should be an option further down that says, “Hide all from...” and the name of the group. If that doesn’t do the trick, I found a Chrome extension called “Facebook

I agree. This is another reason that I’m really skeptical of this whole “political revolution” the Bernie folks keep talking about. We heard a lot of this stuff back in 2008, but when the midterms in 2010 and then 2014 rolled around, where were all the people yelling, “Yes we can!”? Not voting, that’s for sure. If he

I’ve heard anecdotally that huge numbers of Latino voters are rushing to get registered, as well as that record numbers of people are applying for citizenship to try and get it done before the election in November. I only hope that these rumors bear actual fruit.

I had one guy get all huffy and act like I was some bitch that couldn’t take a joke, but a couple of others kind of went, “Yeah, you know, you’re right. That’s pretty fucked up.” Small victories!
