@TJ Wenger: Definitely hit a nerve. Maybe some people in shore towns tout this crap for the tourism bucks, but speaking as a resident of beautiful NJ, we resent that show and it's connotations bitterly.
God I hate that one. And also: Me, to.
I LOL'd
HA! Hyundai design cue: Copy from Acura! Or is it Subie? My head hurts. But it's OK, because the next Acura will look like a Toyota! Reciprocity FTW!
We knew these as the Toyota Conquest. Neat and very quick little cars, loved 'em
This is beauty and grace under pressure. What a stunning car. One of my favorites.
Just saw this, after a comical double-take.
Six levels of Excellent, great one!
They're on Speed, I for one am VERY GLAD Fox will have nothing more to do with this season. Tape-delayed, edited to hell, they're TERRIBLE. On Speed you get to see them driving in at the end, loving the fans and team, weighing in, and ALL the interview, not just a dick-edited bit of it.
Well done and much admiration, Klaus, for an evocative and well-written story. I can almost feel the excitement of the forbidden pleasure being anticipated and then occasionally enjoyed in abundance. Brings to mind my own hidden childhood treasures.
Brilliant
Touching story, well done.
It has a brutish, get-the-fuck-outta-my-way look to it. I kinda like it from the side view.
Looks freakin' beautiful in the side shot. And I LOVE those wheels. Driver sticking out above the roll bar - not so much.
That was beautiful. Now! Prepare yourselves to watch some of the best qualifying riding I have ever seen. Ryuichi Kiyonari qualifying Donington 2008 in the wet, the skill involved with this run is almost, but not quite entirely, unreal.
Great story, amazing how some things come to be.
