@FastForward: The Beetle... Curved windscreen, angled (normal) dash, Rostyle wheels with chrome trim... *sigh*

The 3.0CL - 200HP in a tiny body, had everything by default, only nav missing. 10 years without a single problem.

@OMGItsWeasel: I thought that too, but then I saw the second picture shows that's where the articulation joint is, in the middle. So they had to be separated to allow it to articulate. Looks a little off though.

I did this once or twice with my '80 Suzuki GSX750E. Tied a nylon strap round the front forks, looped it twice through a cross-member in the front of the truck bed for traction, and had one friend push and stabilize the bike, and just dragged it up there. No fuss, no muss, no flat pavement-marked side of the head.

@Elhigh: Thanks for the new (or reminder of a forgotten) trick! IOU1...

Dude, you should have just used your own name. Yeaman = yeah man! FTW!

@rianocerous: Hear, hear! And sometimes again and again...

My son is a type 1 (insulin-dependent) diabetic who will soon be getting his beginner's license. He will be trained and forewarned to take all the necessary precautions concerning his condition before he goes anywhere near the road. Regardless of this, over the years I have seen him go through lows that, despite

@for cardassia!: As soon as I saw your handle I was conflicted. I immediately mentally added "and beyond!". I know the conflict comes from knowing perfectly well it's a mix, but how else would we have discovered whiskey and soda, for example?

Well said and congratulations. I sent for the Daimler to take you to the COTD lounge!

@Matt White: I make that one often, lol - almost as bad as my work email calling everyone "Retards" instead of sending "Regards"...

@stoneflysoldie: No no no, they can't move that fast. This is from the bow wave of the semi that passed it...

@blu_goku: This just makes me want to go faster. There isn't anyone cooler than the Stig. And if Chuck Norris doesn't agree, the Stig will just out-accelerate him.

@jalopnikfan: This brought a tear to my jaded old eye. A prime example of what a man should do. Oh and he wasn't just running, he was SPRINTING as hard as he could and had to dodge the other car at the same time.

@Jordi T Harrison: Except for Dobberkau. Check him out at 1:58 - 2:07 and again 2:12 - 2:29 and various other places. His car is alternatively No. 5 and No. 2. Keeps the thing banging all the way, great to watch!

Beautiful noise. Enjoyed the hell out of Dobberkau/Konig in the red No. 5, alternatively No. 2 - at 2:12 - 2:29. This guy knows how to keep that pot boiling....

1. Looks like it started life as a Lambo

@Wolfsheim: Awesome comment. Deadpan delivery FTW - Leslie would be proud. That had me laughing so hard...
