I have a daughter. There have been a lot of changes in her life in the past few years. She went from being the only child of two single people to being one of five children with one stepparent and a soon-to-be second stepparent. She’s handled those changes as well as any child can but there are moments.

I used to work for the disaster side of the red cross, and apart from learning that apartment complexes are apparent death traps! we were sent out to do free smoke detector installs with the talking point that you have two minutes or less to get out of the house. My MIL refuses to use her crock pot, not because she thinks it’ll burn the house down (her space heater will win that war) but because “the meat just fell right off the bone” so therefore it must be broken. I cannot convince her that some people LIKE their meat tender and juicy.

A woman in my office loves this show and I swear to God this morning she told me she was throwing out her old Crockpot because of the danger. I told her I heard that wasn’t really something likely to happen and she was relieved.

Doesn’t it make it worse that they did it in his hometown? He didn’t care for this artist, and considered using artists after their death “demonic,” and then they did it right on his own home turf.
