Why does news need to mention not every police officer has been a rapist in order to be "fair"? I live in Miami. If there's a hurricane coming, does the weather report need to be "fair" and mention most days we don't have a hurricane? It wouldn't be a news story if it wasn't a blatant violation of his role in society.

What would be more helpful would be to identify where the bad cops are and where the good cops are. This might be information people could use positively.

However, I really wish that Jezebel would stop with the sensationalist headlines and publish more than one type of cop story. These types of headlines (it happened again: everyone be afraid of police now) continue the cycle of fear and hatred of police officers everywhere and it makes their jobs that much harder.

Why stop there?

Oh yes of course; I didn't even realize that! Better file this one to #corrections

No, it's just a REALLY good corset...it will suck in space and time as well as your waistline.

I have a 10 month old and my HR person brought me into her office partway through my pregnancy to go over everything - from FMLA paperwork to pumping. It's the RIGHT thing to do. She had to fill out paperwork anyway, so they could have mentioned it. If they didn't, they have a pretty shitty HR department.

Nationwide ain't on your side.

Two months IS to soon, in my opinion. Two months postpartum and I was still a sleep-deprived, hormonal mess with a bad case of mastitis to boot. My old job only offered 3 weeks unpaid maternity leave - that right there is enough to force a person to quit.

Off-topic: I'm continually shocked when I read about women in the US having to go back to work 2 months or sometimes even less after having a baby. It seems way too soon! Like, how do you even think about coordinating child care and all the follow-up doctor appointments with a 2-month old AND having to go back to

According to the opinion, Neel also dictated a resignation letter to Ames.

I don't even want to imagine what was so wrong with that room that it needed three days to square away.

"Neel gave her a piece of paper and told her to write out her resignation. Ames said Neel told her " I think it's best that you go home to be with your babies.""

Security access? Three days? Do they store company secrets in the lactation room?

Good for her! I live in Tx and I was at the protests last year when I could be. I live in Aggieland, ugh, and am proud to wear orange for this reason...and I didn't go to any University/College in this state. :)

Yessssss I've been aware of their work and have followed their activities on social media! So exciting that there's a financial resource for women who have trouble accessing abortion services.

Two years later, Chuck is available on Netflix Instant Watch. :-)
