It reminds me of the book by Kevin Anderson 'Ill Wind' which is about what happens when all oil based substances disappear (He uses a manmade airbourne oil eating microbe to make this happen)

Actually, I hate to say it, but unless something has drastically changed since the developer preview (Or I missed some obscure installation setting), that is indeed the PC OS. You can get to a desktop, sure, but if you click on the start button, back to Metro you go...

I watched Tucker and Dale a couple of weeks ago and thought it was awesome. I think it may have helped that I knew next to nothing about the film going in, so had no pre formed expectations for it to live up to.
