@Tanshanomi: Don't blame me, blame my mother...or diet... yeah, go for blaming the diet, sorry mum.

Personally I quite like the Dodge Charger police cars that seem to be all over the place these days.

So he was in a van, went through a concrete barrier and managed to leap a 30ft gap? I wonder if he was speeding?

Imagine this. You've a couple of kids, and a planned cross country drive coming up. This could be a lot more fun to drive around in than a typical people carrier. Lots of room in the back for the kiddies to enjoy. Modify the TV to include their games console and you're away! Especially good if it has one of those

@Miscellanea: I'll go along with that, never really noticed them before, but now I have, I like. I like a lot.

I rent movies from those kiosks you see at supermarkets for $1. I know it means using old fashioned 'physical' media, and I do have to make the strenuous effort to drive 2 minutes to the store to pick up the movie, but I"m not so lazy that I'd pay 4 times the amount to avoid the drive.

I especially applaud the man for giving us an electric car story where no one can bleet on about 'Where does the electricity come from?'

@evilonion: You actually play with your Wii? I've had mine since launch, and it gets about as much use now as a Ronko LP cleaner.

Just to add to the myriad of comments below. Glad the update is ggod news, hope the eye is savable and that he can race again. However, that headline, a bit poor taste don't you think?

Speaking as an IT person who can make the decision on whether to allow the update from IE6 or not, this kind of ill thought out, short sighted, gut reaction campaign annoys the hell out of me. I don't give two figs if facebook, or diigg, or you tube work fine in IE8, or that all the cool kids are laughing at us for

@pauljones: If it was then it would be 'humour' instead. Probably lot's of Colourful Aluminium used as well.

So Avis has Camaros for hire? Interesting... Don't want to own one, but wouldn't mind taking one for a spin for a weekend, you know, just for laughs. (Which is probably how this one got into this state)
