Seriously. I love the Rebecca/Nathaniel dynamic.

Team Joanne all the way (though she could do better than Maureen).

I was reminded of episode 102, Valencia saying she had no women friends while cuddling on the couch with Rebecca, toes-under-the-warm-butt. If Rebecca hadn’t jumped the gun that episode that relationship might’ve eventually gone somewhere. V has a strong need for female peer validation. The more she got into her ‘girl

The time-jump was a great solution to my two minor concerns - A) I wasn’t really looking forward to a Heather pregnancy arc, and B) Valencia is the one character I feel this show has struggled to find what to do with for the last year. This way, we get peak Heather anguish (her cry-insulting Hector was easily the

Cute dog hopefully we see more of him.

They should have gotten someone to play the creepy janitor and given him a song.

I agree that this was a great episode, but one thing bugged me and will probably keep bugging me - Valencia OUT OF NOWHERE having a girlfriend is so, so weird. I’ve always thought she was a poorly written character, but this is just beyond.

Oh, man, even thinking about Nathaniel’s face right then right now makes me all teary. He loves her. That is some damn fine acting.

If you want to ugly-cry at a TV series, hunt down the recent Korean comedy “I’m Not A Robot”. It’s a light comedy that halfway through turns into emotional torture porn.

I do feel a bit sorry for Vinny/Josh, to have his role so drastically downgraded that he went from second lead (pretty much) to little more than a background player. It gives us an inkling of what Santino/Greg’s fate would have been if he had stayed after they burned through his story arc. The show’s running gag was

1. Michael Hyatt is so goddamned good in this show.
2. Aline McKenna and Rachel Bloom are just killing it this season.
3. The inversions of songs in reprises (Face Your Fears, most of all) is paying off so handsomely.
4. I teared up a bit when the camera cut from Nathaniel to no Rebecca. And I’m an adult in his mid

Rebecca admitting all the stuff she was afraid she’d get hung up on was just devastating. Rachel Bloom is so damn good.

The sole purpose of this post is to acknowledge and celebrate Rene Gube, who is freaking hilarious as Father Brah and apparently a brilliant writer as well. Thank you for your time.

I need that black floral print dress in my closet right now.

It does my perverse little heart good to know that its been eight months and Darryl & White Josh did not get back together.

FYI, there is explicit version of “This Session Will Be Different” on YouTube. It doesn’t change much, but it does have a great payoff. I love Michael Hyatt’s voice, that silky alto tone
