Ah, that would explain it. It works fine up to Inferno, but once you get to Inferno, the stuff you find won't be useful anymore and the stuff you can buy on the AH is plain and simply better than anything you will ever find in drops, and way cheaper, too, because it's from people farming in act 3 and 4, which you

Picture too pixelated to be sure.

You still can't find anything useful on your own because the game is balanced around the stupid auction house and there are no interesting stats on items whatsoever, and that's not gonna change.

I opened a Japanese PSN account a while ago to get some Japanese games to help me learn the language. For JRPGers, this thing is freakin candyland, man.

    You're female?

I'm learning Japanese right now and this is what's keeping me from learning using websites. I do think it's a cultural thing though and I will get used to it, but for now it's quite the barrier.

The thing I see working for this is that while it won't sell like hotcakes in the beginning, it'll get cheaper and you'll get newer versions that can do better at somewhat sensible intervals, and they will offer the ultimate in backwards compatibility. Basically it's like the iPhone for consoles (very broadly

No, I wouldn't go that far, I was just thinkin that the Steam Box might be using patented TARDIS it's-bigger-on-the-inside technology.

I think people would gladly pony up for a dedicated gaming platform - if it were actually better than the other stuff. People are buying 3dses. People are not buying the Vita. The Vita, however, can do a lot more and is more powerful. But it doesn't have the marketing and no future *games* on the horizon

this is not really an official announcement, though. I'm intrigued. I mean, I'd scoff at this. I scoff at the Ouya. But this is Valve. Maybe they *have* perfected time travel. It is freakin Valve. Maybe each of these freakin boxes is bigger on the inside.

    - Mommy, I want one.

Using "your argument has already been invalidated" in an argument has actually been invalidating arguments for a while now. But I guess you didn't get the memo. Your opinion, sir, is worth nothing now because you couldn't bother to be nice to people.

Actually I was just asking, so the presumption is on your side. It's nice to know you're actually talking about the same thing and I think it's perfectly reasonable to see Frog Fractions as pretentious hipster bullshit. I like it, but I couldn't finish that dang text adventure on my own and gave up.

Yay, finally frog fractions is getting some recognition :)

I don't know if you "get" Frog Fractions. I mean, I'm sure you can hate it while "getting" it, but you sound like you didn't give it enough of a chance to realize what it actually is. Go play it and get the turtle. The game only starts once you get the dragon.

I have to agree, I have no idea why I don't like Angry Birds. I used to play flash games like it, it's predecessors so to speak, for hours and hours and hours. And they were a lot worse, less thought out, looked like crap and by all means should've been more fun. But Angry Birds... I don't like it, even though it's

I wish they did this for paid products too. That they work on. Themselves.

Yeah, stop calling it a rip off and start calling it the steaming pile of crap it is. At least rip offs have the merit of being designed with something good in mind.
