stuck in the house b/c I'm on-call. Hoping for some time with Deus Ex, maybe steal my son's 3Ds and put some time on Zelda and watch some college football. Here's hoping for a fun weekend!

Thanks for the info, I'll pass on it for now and hold out hope for the next version.

How's Saint Rows 2 on PC? The review scores seem a little low but Steam has it at $14.99. #3 certainly looks like something to get excited about.

I hear ya, I'll just skip it. They have a product and they are choosing how they want to provide it to the end user. I like to keep all my stuff on one account if possible and if they want to with-hold additional material to punish me for using Steam then I'll just pass for now.

This is b/c they are offering the first DLC free to all those who pre-order. If you can't pre-order on Steam then you can't get the DLC for free through that service. They are just trying to motivate users to their digital service instead of using Steam. While I can't necessarily blame them, I am going to pass.

i heard mixed things but came here looking for more feedback.

Not sure if I really want to pick this game up now if I'm stuck with it for life. I like to trade when I complete and don't plan to replay. Hrrmmmm.

I feel that old when I play now.

Who does this idiot represent, the publisher or the developer? I love 2K Games and Gearbox has proven to be a solid game developer, but if this is they type of people they choose to represent them I'm going to reconsider my purchases.

I'm more concerned about how this may dictate, to a degree, what both Microsoft and Sony offer this time next year. The Wii was pretty revolutionary in terms of user interaction and now look at how much the other two have emphasized their similar solutions just yesterday. I mean if they come out with something that

This should be promising. Remember, we are essentially seeing Nintendo's 5-7 year plan. Gots' my fingers crossed that it will be something special. Competition drives innovation, if it's at all flat, I'll be a bit nervous for those that follow.

Beacon. It's a cool name, plus it reminds me of bacon. I was simply reflecting on the fact that at some point, we may run out of cool terms or phrases to re-purpose. :)

Is it just me or are we running out of "hip" words for products and services? I mean, apple just sticks an 'i' in front of their stuff, but for the rest of them, I can see a future with some slim pickins'. Sony's STANDARD WIRELESS CONTROLLER THAT RUMBLES AND IS EXCITING tm.

I was expecting more..."wow". This surely means that everyone is getting geared up for next gen. Feels similar to the slow of Nintendo games announcements right before they announced something new on the horizon.

it finally comes back online, I got to power up to check it out and I get the old Yellow Light of Death. Seriously, talking about a stab in the face. I found a source online that shows how I may fix it but if it doesn't, I can't afford to drop that kind of money on another. Utter frustration.

Well...all I will say is it's more to put a device they make into all their employees hands versus one made by competitors. It is possible I'll get an Android version but not really sure until I get one in my hands. The fella across the aisle from me has it and really likes it compared to what we are/were using.

Have they added support for custom ring tones. Not a troll, my company is moving me to a windows 7 phone shortly and this has been one of the gripes from my co-workers.

My son is at the end of first grade and is rather bright. I've thought about introducing him to this. I kinda like the idea of creating a server so he and I can share the experience and he doesn't need to fear the creppers. :)

Personally I'll remain skeptical for now.

still....haunted...by their Christmas commercial.
