But more severe traffic violations will result in a day-fine based on your income. Although the resulting fines are much higher in Finland and Switzerland…

In Sweden the V70 starts at the same price as the 3 touring and slightly below the C-class combi. But it's closer to the E and 5-series in size yes.

I'm aware. Just like you only get the Audi Allroad. I'm looking forward to the next generation Volvo V70 which you hopefully will get. It's getting outdated when several VW offerings in touring/combi spec has a bigger boot but that will change in a couple of years.

Volvo V70 still beats the 3 touring in terms of space.
