Irony is: if you cut the guy for conduct detrimental to the team (e.g. Antonio Brown) you're still stuck with the cap fallout. But suspend him and you get relief, apparently?

Romo is one of the better ones. He just delivers it kind of casually. Gruden the guiltiest party at what you’re describing: buzz word salad.
A grown-ass man still going by the name "Booger" is somehow not the most shameful lack of self-awareness in that headline.
Gotta say, that is a random choice. Are you from a town called Norwich or something? That’s what I’ve seen in US supporters of smaller sides like Ipswich, Portsmouth, Plymouth, etc.
What? No way. There's no way New England knew. He's living at Tom Brady's house right now. There's no way.
Eh, yes, but in fairness, he didn’t sign many of those deals, especially the worst ones. In fact, payroll would have been a reason to cut him some slack.
Not in Germany. They’ve had so many players from America, it shouldn’t be shocking any more. The American equivalent is probably Japanese baseball players - not exactly common but you see it regularly and it doesn’t shock you when they turn out to be good even though their country's level is lower.
I KIND of get this, though. No, it’s not rational, but it’s lived experience. In hockey a two-goal lead is known as the most dangerous lead. I don’t know if, statistically speaking, teams blow two-goal leads more often than they otherwise should. In fact, I doubt that they do - outside of pockets of bad coaching.
Lowell, MA had the Lowell Lock Monsters, named for the canal locks in the city. Their logo was also pretty epic.
Damnit, that gives it away. Clearly a prank by a dim-witted Canadian teammate.
As long as they’re not torching cash in the transaction, it’s fine to do. The real estate market is going to be one of the more stable things they can invest in, and big, secluded houses do come with more privacy.
I live in Hawaii. That would be 5x here, easily.
Jerry Remy was a hotheaded asshole of a player. This whole persona he's taken on is a sham.
Three kids, three felons.
How the hell do you not know Larry Robinson? Ken Hodge isn’t in that level, but if you're talking early 90s hockey players his name almost always comes up.
That’s not a fair thing to bring up, full stop. BUT a year before his son died of an OD, the judge presiding over the trial did rip Andy Reid and criticize the lack of structure in the home:
Adding: a BUNCH of Celtics live in a development of townhomes in Waltham. A friend used to live there, at least 8 or 9 Celtics lived in the same development at the time. Rondo was always there, Big Baby, Garnett had a place there (and a house elsewhere). Even with the move of the practice facility to Brighton, I…
Wow this didn't age well.
Refs won’t ever stop play unless a goalie’s helmet comes off, he’s obviously in danger, or his team manages to regain possession or trap the puck. That’s common knowledge, I don’t think anyone who has watched hockey for very long would have a real issue.
