I remember back in the arcades when Street Fighter 2 came out, trying to decipher the moves list was an awesome time in my life. There was a time if you knew how to consistently throw a dragon punch I considered you a wizard... like a real life, summoning lightning and must have a gnarled staff at home wizard.
I'm still nowhere close to being "good" at fighting games, but I'm much better than I used to be thanks to Street Fighter. It's a really good series to start if you are new to fighting games.
